Staples HP ZE4101 on clearance Listed price $899

No luck . . .

My store refused the PM because of the rebate that was available when I bought the notebook, but is no longer available now. :mad:

Seems to be in line with their policy posted at the website, which they state also applies to stores:

"Available coupons and rebates will be deducted from the Staples price to come up with a net Staples price when calculating the price match. For example, if you buy an item from us for $100, and we offer a $20 rebate, the net price is $80."

Can't find anything specifically about price adjustments at the web site.
 
So i got lucky then. The $100 credit just appeared on my CC today. How the heck did he remember that there was a $150 rebate on it ? The $100 HP rebate is still valid. Since the $150 rebate has ended they reduced the price by $100.

Who knows how he remembered. Maybe I'm not the first . . . maybe if I got someone else I would have been lucky . . . . maybe corporate sent the word out . . . etc.

Glad to hear someone got an even better deal though. :-)
