Something to Ponder

I think Carter speaks sooth as does Ult. The problem is that a LOT of those who disagree with Obama are racist and the Republican Party is not discouraging them that I can see.

Jerry, there's racism on both sides....the Dems didn't throw back all those votes from those who voted for Obama just because he was black.:yesnod:

Neither are right nor do they justify each other.....but if you condemn one, condemn them both.

What a convinient way of unsubstantiated thinking in order to shift the blame. Why don't you then go further and say that a LOT of those who supported Obama in Obama-Hillary Clinton presidential nomination race are sexist?

Same blatantly stupid assertion.

Shift the blame of what? There are certainly a lot of Dems who are sexist but if Hillary had won I just can't imagine there being such vocal and avowed intention for her to fail.

I had though the way it works is if you don't like the politicians that get elected then you get your party or candidate into a position where they win the election or get involved yourself, not just complain about the persons who are elected. Guess my thinking is a little clouded on this.

ALRIGHT NOW! Hang on just one darn second, the mood here is too serious, someone hijack this thread fast! LOL

I have never seen so many grown men with their knickers in a wad

Serious isn't bad. At least we can't throw punches. :peace:

As far as the Yankees go their magic number is 11.

(I didn't just say something over somebody's head did I?)

I think bad policies should fail, no matter who is toting them. JMHO.

Some can't handle that concept and need to throw an -ism at it.

Hey Jerry.....what are your thoughts on Bloomberg?:suspicious:

His magic number is 3.

My only hope is that whoever the mayor is will get the damn streets fixed and since they haven't been fixed by Bloomberg in 8 years I think it's "time for change". There was something else (I forget) that I heard Bloomberg saying that needs addressing that got me POed. He had 8 years to do and now he says he will - right. In spite of that the chances are I'll vote for him :mmph:

Then again, the ex-comptroller guy...

 Check back with me in a couple of months, will ya? :ack:

LOL Well, they took the grade down here about a week ago to repave leaving the man hole sticking way up. Boy, did I bash my car (it was dark, no street light and a double parked vehicle.).....I thought for sure it did some major damage. So far, so good though. Anywho, I went back to take photos and in about 2 minutes about 3 other cars did the same and proceeded to pull over and check for damage.

And yeah, I called 311 and they said within 10 days someone would come out and take a look at it.

I initially voted for Bloomberg......I think we're done with him. Especially since he's running again, being extremely hypocritical of Giuliani (forgot how to spell his name  ) for wanting or suggesting a possible 3rd term.

So who are the choices? Any good prospects? or should I ask, who is not the worst in the bunch

It's all relative (which they may all be :teeth:) But I feel "we the people" are faced with the same dilemma we were in the last national election and have to decide which is the lesser of two weasels.

Incidentally, (maybe not), I think the only matter that you and I disagree with or on is that you think there is something that can be done to influence "the puppet masters". I don't think there is. The only thing the wackos do is upset people while a tried and true technique follows along the line of, "give 'em enough rope..." (oops, that could be interpreted as raciest couldn't it - :argh: - I GIVE UP!)

Do you know where I can get some affordable tickets for next weeks Yankees/Red Socks game. I need something I can understand

I may not be able to change the 'master plan' of the 'puppet masters', but I can certainly give them a run for their money and try....

Not Preco ---> :sheep:

Is it that "time of the year" to change the rotation direction of ceiling fans?

No, put oil in the car when the red light flashes.....

Checked that one off the list tonight....:yesnod:

Seriously....the 'add some oil' light came on tonight....

I added some oil, the light went off....no problem :noidea:

By the looks of the dashboard instruments it's an older Honda or Toyota. By the looks of your shoes, however, you should be driving an Acura or a Lexus.

That is the biggest picture I have ever seen on here.....wow :yikes:
