(Sold Out) Xbox 360 for $100!!!!

definitely had 6 computers running, 3 automatically refreshing, 3 i was doing manually running off of 3 different ISP's and also had my friend on the other line....where did i go wrong!??!?!?!

i had a friend say it sold out in less than 5 secs ... i was like how did you know that if i couldn't even get through!!?

seriously tho .. who actually got one from this forum?

I was able to get a page that said "get it" or something and I clicked the button. The page never loaded after that.

My girlfriend got to "the question" but after she answered it said they were already sold out.

No 360

I had the same problem with the page loading, but eventually up it popped. The xbox was sold out, but I was able to snag a Mongoose Domain Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike. 65 bucks with shipping. Not the best quality of bike, but a deals a deal. Here I come Ebay. Just kiddin.

i got to the screen where it asked me to add 19 + 12 and than it would give the the code but then eventually when the next screen loaded it had sold out. Amazon SUCKS!!!

got the bike!

maybe your addition was wrong....:teeth:

haha, just kidding!

Same here. Had Firefox and IE open with Firefox set to auto reload. Firefox got the page to show Get the Deal, but the graphics never loaded. I clicked the button and it took 15 minutes for the math question page to load. Answered the question and was told that it had sold out. Other pages went from the Wait until 11 am page, to next weeks deals, to Sold Out in about 20 seconds.

Still haven't figured out how to get around page loads... have the same issue with Ticketmaster. Oh well. I'll still take this over waiting outside for 3 days to get screwed.

I got the bike too. I actually had 2 screens up and both asked for the addition question but with different questions. 1 timed out and the other went through. $60 shipped for a bike is a great deal. I also had 2 different computers going. Oh well I guess the XBox 360 is never going to happen for me.

wow, you are a loser, lol

just kidding

at least that was fun! happy thanksgiving everyone!

My mistake was I got to the page where it said "Get this Deal" and I accidentally hit refresh again. Had to click stop real quick and back...and that page was still there. Wasted 5 seconds there...and thats what made it fail for me. I got the "2+14" question, and it sold out after that. Dang it. Just Luck of the draw.

Next time folks, if you know of a deal like this, keep it HUSH.:verysad:

would amazon sell 1000 xbox 360's for $100? maybe it's just a ploy to get some free advertisement with all the buzz.

A pubicly traded company like Amazon would not lie about something like this. They would never survive an external audit if they blatantly deceive us over a few hundred thousand $$$ worth of goods. It's not worth it to lie in this case. But i think my faith in amazon has decreased dramatically. This left a bad taste in my mouth.
