This product and it's unavailability is a joke. Thank goodness I have ZERO interest in this silly toy.
 
We have had a Wii for almost a year now in our apartment. The funny thing is that we bought it while online drunk at 2AM from Sams Club b/c we happened to see it would be there...maybe yall should try this?!?!
 
went to Game Stop this morning to get in on the rainchecks they had. The store i went to only had 18 rainchecks for a January shipment. I got there 30 minutes before the store opened and was 3rd in line. I was lucky that later on they received a shipment of about 8 via UPS. So they called me up to come pick mine up.

but i was patient for a few months of wii hunting...and didn't want to give in to the sharks on e*bay or craigslist.

You kids are spoiled. :-) I'll go with gameplay and innovative features over fancy graphics any day. Not to mention the high price.
 
I wonder why people why until now to buy it? Why not buy it earlier in the year, you can always take it back.

Have been playing Manhunt 2. Not for kids. Lol

Katamari is coming out for it in March.
 
If the Wii's so dang popular, why won't anyone local buy my Wii with 4 roms, 2 gamecube games, 1 gamecube controller, 2 wii controllers w/nunchucks, 512MB extra flash, 10 Wii titles, extended range wireless sensor bar, component cables & composite cables, for a reasonable price! (no, Ebay has gotten too greedy - I'm not giving them and paypal 9-11% of the cut with another 10%+ going to shipping)

OK, that's the end of my rant....

We're wanting to sell ours to go PS3, though I'm having doubts for two reasons: one, I can't sell our used Wii for a reasonable price locally, and two) there's a chance the new PS3 sku will not be backwards compatible, in which case I'm not buying it. Sony, bring back the emotion chip, dangit.

Is your price too high? I think people are looking to buy new, or at least I was. Fresh out of the box. Although I would have considered used if the price were decent.
 
If only I had checked earlier. It's been months since amazon has had it in stock.
 
are wii's still selling out? i was at costco the other day and they had plenty in stock.
 
FYI, NowInStock.net is also a good resource for those still looking.
 
Here the long lines in the AM are gone but stores are still selling out withing a couple hours. But expect long lines to return next month because Wii Fit and Mario Kart. Not to mention people will have a little extra to spend with their tax returns and tax rebate checks.
 
I saw this while I was at work and thought to myself "no f'ing way it's in stock... I'm so going to get one". Pressed the link... blocked by our company internet filter. :(
 
if anyone lives in NYC, go to the nintendo store in rockefeller in the morning, they have in stock every morning
 
I went by walmart last night looking for a nintendo ds, they had 4 wii's just sitting there, what's the big deal? They seem to be at walmart so they should be anywhere!
 
The Wiis are out there, just in limited supply. People are just lazy. Call a couple of places, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Gamestop, etc. in the morning. You'll find a place that has them.

To the guy who cannot sell his - you've got too much crap with the system - 10 games? I'd rather spend $250 for the system and then buy the games I want, rather than get the bundle you have for something like $500, just cause you have games, doesn't mean everyone wants to play those games. They basically see the package as something where they are only going to use 1/2 of the stuff. Try advertising the Wii itself and see what kind of response you get.

Wiis are everywhere now. I checked 3 gamestops and they all had them, only 1 had Mario Kart. Amazon needs to get more in stock, not sure why they don't.
