When attempting to register a Half Life 2 CD key with the Steam client one of the following problems is encountered:

- CD key is already registered
- CD key is in use
- CD key is invalid


Solution:
Please submit an email message to the following address:

The email message must include the following:

1. Your first and last name

2. The specific problem that is occurring when attempting to register the CD key on Steam

3. The CD Key typed out as it is displayed.

4. Images files (.jpeg or .gif format only) of:

- all of the game installation CD's that are included in the program package
- the CD key number, as it clearly displayed within the game's packaging
- valid and legible sales/purchase receipt

If all of the above criteria is not met we cannot issue a new CD key. Your new CD key will be delivered in the order it is received.
