(Sold Out) Axion 7" Portable DVD Player for $25!

How This Works

Due to the incredible volume of traffic stemming from the popularity of this feature, we have made some changes to Amazon Customers Vote:

* You are eligible to buy only the deal that you voted for.
* You need an authorized credit card on your account.
* There is no more race to buy: the claim codes will be distributed only to randomly selected customers.

Found this on the amazon.com page. I haven't messed with any of these amazon deals this year, but thought I would share

The "you can only get the item you voted for" rule is going to screw with the results. People will wait till the last minute to see what everyone else was voting for instead of choosing what they really wanted.

Maybe some people, but not me. I'll vote for what I want. I could have bought the drill or the toy card, but I didn't want those. A bargain isn't a bargain if it's useless to you. Not to say I wouldn't buy something worth selling, I would have bought the xbox to sell for $100, but then again I would have voted for that deal too.

I really wonder why people are getting so miffed about this promo. It's not like you have to wait in line for 6 hours and then get nothing because it sold out. They tell you up front how many there are, and you give it a shot. Nobody is guaranteed one-if you're lucky, you get in.

I happened upon the second-chance thing for the bike and ended up getting it for $30. Wasn't what I voted for, but I couldn't pass it up.
