What was your first thought when your first child was born?
 
I was so worn out from labor (it was quick with no pain meds) that I can't really remember. I was happy and tired!

Which age for your child is/was your favorite so far?(I'm guessing most people wouldn't say the teen years-I'm a little worried about those.)
 
After 4 days of labor with no meds and no sleep????......"okay...just leave me alone..."...Then dh shoved the cell phone at me and made me speak with EVERYONE!!!!....*****God just let me sleep***...P.S. She was the prettiest little girl ever who kicked open her porthole of her incubator! Her Grandma was the first to see her.(her first grand-daughter)..today is her birthday.(my mom's)....I miss her...thanks for bringing back a great memory...\

Favorite age..?..under 2...actually under 1...pre-walking.....they look at you with understanding, they don't answer back and they don't run away from you...they stay where you put them....easily satisfied with a bottle or a diaper change....and they hold a promise of wonderful things to come. :)

What was your DH's(or partner's) reaction when you informed him, he''ll be a Dad????

when i found out i was preg the first time i was 18 and by myself at my mom's house. i tried paging my (at the time) boyfriend but he wouldn't answer so i paged him 3 times with the last page being 911911911. finally he called back and said what do you want. i was crying like crazy,i was scared, i said i am pregnant! he said alright, calm down, i will be there in a few min well what would normally take 30 min to get to my house took him 10 min. but while i was waiting for him i found a note on my bedroom door (b/c he had been staying with my mom and me) it said i was waiting here for you i needed you here so i could take care of a few things but you never showed up so i am gonna go and i will see you when i see you!!! then i really started crying. so when he got back to my house i said i was sorry and asked what are we going to do?? and he said WE ARE GONNA GET MARRIED!!! i was shocked but the rest is history for almost 7 years now. (6/11/99) :) ( i was 18 and he was 19 )

I think I did cry....I cry now when watching the video....since having kids...I cry a lot...I love them that much...

i hope there is light at the end of the tunnel i really need so improvements to my situations.

i cried really bad @ my wedding b/c i was 26 wks preg & the hormones were unbelieveable, the baby was born (preemie) 4 days later on the 15th. :D

It's gonna be 12 years...(time goes real fast)....

So 2 of 4 have been naturally born on their 'due date'.(statistically...that's 3%..so I'm told )....how close were yours to their due date???

i had my tubes tied (burned) on my due date of my 3rd.

thanks wingding, it was really an scary time every time but by the 2nd one i was almost already a pro since my first baby was in the nicu for 11 weeks i got all the lingo and tests and monitors down pretty good so by the 2nd and 3rd i didn't have to ask 20 questions about every little thing they did to my boys. i also kept journals so everyday i fiiled in their vitals, their nurses and wether or not we got to see them. the first time around we got to go everyday, the next 2 babies we didn't get to go as much b/c we had other babies at home and they were further away. :D

would like to get up at 8:00 am (this was b.c. -- before children)

actually get up now between 5:30 am and 6:00 am

i like to get up around 8 am if it's the summer since i am a stay at home mom. but when school starts we are up by 6am everyday except Saturday.
