One of my favorite books is "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim" by David Sedaris

It's a funny book and David Sedaris is a great author!

I'd have to say Dean Koontz b/c he got me reading with his wild imagination but lately I am into J.K. Rowlings Harry Potter, Dan Brown, Paolini, and others.

What's your favorite family night place or hang out place?
 
My favorite hang out is anywhere my wife will go - no place more than once that comes to mind. Guess I'm just happy with the company present.

I think one of my most favorite books was A Painted House by John Grishim. My wife and I were both ready for a new book when we got this one so we read it together one paragraph back and forth (I do the voices better though).
Then we read the Harry Potters the same way. It's hard to find a good book for two. Nothing seems to beat A Painted House.

Anybody have a suggestion of a good story two "old folks" might like to read to each other?

I would LOVE an African safari!- and a really nice beach vacation would be great too, but I haven't looked into all the really expensive, exotic places so I couldn't say an exact one

A signifacnt other! Makes it all that much more of a dream vacation.

Do you prefer flying or driving to your vacation destination. You can either sightsee along the way or see the sights when you get there?
 
driving. i'm a freak about flying- i do it only when necessary (and that's SO rare)

Bluesky - I did a safari in Kenya a couple of years back...It is soooo worth it! Just to be that close to a lion eating a zebra or a field of wildebeast migrating...it's really a wonderful trip.

Back to Prec's question: That's a hard one to answer...there are so many decisions each day and they are always changing! I think deciding whether to make certain purchases or to save the money is pretty hard for me.

What was your favorite year in school? (If you cannot remember a specific year, then level - elementary, middle, high, college, etc)
 
i would have to say 8th grade b/c you were on top (grade wise) and the pressure wasn't there yet cause you weren't in high school where everything counted. plus i just had alot of fun and alot of friends.
