Are you bleeping kidding me?! How many links do you need before you can understand you are wrong? FEMA went into action January 29th.Obama didn't even come to see our "disaster"....
I doubt he even knows where it's at in our 57 states...
And the Gov. did ask for help...last week:rant:
What... did you expect Obama to come to Kentucky, grab some gloves and start getting the wires back up himself? The numbers of the people who lost power going down is because of the fine employees of neighboring utility companys coming to the rescue...
NOT anything that Oduma has done...(which IS nothing, by the way)
Silly Daredevil.....tsk, tsk....he couldn't leave and survey for himself, the Super bowl was on........oops! That's right, a large portion of Kentucky missed that too.....

I'll probably get myself in trouble for this statement.................
My guess is that. proportionally, there are far fewer people in Kentucky than in New Orleans, who subsist solely on a 'gov'ment' check, and expect the 'gov'ment' to take care of them from cradle to grave.
Therefore, no one in Kentucky is whining to the media because FEMA isn't wiping their noses for them.
If this offends, deal with it.
Well think about this. He's not God.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=abCCGpDDZsfU&refer=usFeb. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. dropped charges against the alleged mastermind of the bomb attack on the USS Cole while the Obama administration considers how to handle terrorist suspects detained at Guantanamo, the Defense Department said.
Charges against Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri were dropped without prejudice, which would allow the government to reinstate them later, Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell said late yesterday.
The government was facing a deadline of Feb. 9, when al- Nashiri’s arraignment was scheduled to take place at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. The trial judge refused to suspend the arraignment, even though President Barack Obama last month ordered a 120-day suspension of all legal proceedings against Guantanamo detainees.
Obama will meet today with relatives of the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and the Cole bombing “to talk with these families about resolving the issues involved with closing Guantanamo Bay,” the White House said yesterday.
What is there to digest. Obama is closing the Guantanamo prison and probably has over a hundred lawyers reviewing each case of each inmate to determine how best to deal with them: what type of trial if a trial, imprisonment, moving to a different country, sending back to country of origin, etc...:hmmmm: I'm still trying to digest this.....

There's a lot to digest...... Where will he go now? Free to go?What is there to digest.
- those involved with the Oklahoma bombing (granted, they are white so it is okay for them to be in the US prison) went to a prison in the US
He isn't going anywhere. They dropped the charges as a technicality to stop the trial, so the trial could be delayed, because the judge wouldn't delay it himself for whatever reason. They aren't just letting him go. Heck the trial for bin Laden's driver, even if he was found innocent, didn't actually mean he was going to be free to go.There's a lot to digest...... Where will he go now? Free to go?
The problem with Guantanamo is that Bush royally screwed up. Putting any of these guys on any real trial is near impossible due to human right violations, ie the whole torture thing. So Obama needs to figure out a way to make sure that people that are a threat aren't released, while still having some form of actual justice prevailing.ETA: Even with the Mafia, when they couldn't get them on the main charge, they were able to be prosecuted on other 'non-related' charges.....can't that be done until the 'main case' is 'strong enough' or until they drop dead on their own? It's just not making sense.
Maybe my posts need to be like yours...Seems to be you're fabricating things to rile people up......nothing like that has been mentioned here.....:noidea: Shame on you.....I don't care for your tactics.

With all the smilies that just make the argument  so much more compelling.
