Sample Showcase Sample Box Release on 4/3

I didn't get in on the Allure..no submit and tried enter and didn't work! ugh!
Ok verified my email then 3 more questions and back to retry again! UGH!
Where did everyone who qualified qualify at what was the last question?
Dang hit retry and got same 3 questions! UGH!!!!

Well, after all the hype and playing around with their crappy site, I did not qualify (no children was probably the deal-breaker). Finally did get the survey, though. Heads up: have lots of kids living in your house.
 
I got to where you submit your address (for the 4th time!) and then it timed out like it had been doing so I went back in and this time I got the message...
"Thank you for your order, your box will be on it's way shortly."

I'm hoping it means I got it.

Once I put what i've used in past 6 months seems to circle to make me dizzy. Heck I'm freaking dizzy enough! Grrrrrrrrrr!
After all this freaking trouble better just give it to me!!!! :)

FINALLY SOMETHING I CAN LIVE WITH!!! Said "thank you for your order your box will be sent shortly. please finish the survey..." After all the BS I'll finish it later when everything is over with! :teeth:
 
I sent them an e-mail--and they answered right away. Their servers are overloaded. Please keep trying. That was the gist of it. I'm done with this, but maybe there is hope for others.

Pat it isn't that bad.. Once you get to verify your addy...you're done..from what i've seen the rest is just a reg survey.
 
just got this

StartSampling's Sample Showcase servers are overloaded,
to stop frustrating so many of you were are taking things down for a bit.
Check back later - there are plenty of boxes yet to be ordered!

Thanks for the info Pat. I don't have any kids so I guess it's not worth the frustration to even wait for the site to come back up only to be rejected. lol
 
Took about an hour when it came up at noon, and kept timing out when I got to address confirmation. After spending 30 minutes trying to go back and re-enter, I refreshed the page and it said my box was on it's way, so hope it actually did go through ok. It does still say now there are plenty more boxes, but they have not re-opened the page again yet.

I put in I had kids and was declined. I think you have to make a lot of money on this one.

I checked the highest income bracket they had showing, and I was still denied. Maybe it's geographical? I remember that it was supposed to be for certain areas the last time, but then people reported that they did receive it even out of the area--so who knows. Just so annoying. They sent me an e-mail with the invite, reminded me to confirm, etc., etc. And then they forgot to arrange to have adequate servers? From the items in the box last year, I don't see why children would be necessary to qualify anyway (see typical items they might send from the OP).

Thanks to those of you who signed up at the new StartSampling's Sample Showcase site! The consumer response to the site has been incredibly positive and very exciting. The overwhelming response has caused some technical difficulties, however, and we temporarily closed the Showcase site in order to make the adjustments necessary to handle the tremendous high volume traffic.

We are working diligently to give you, our clearly very interested members, the chance to see if you qualify to receive a Sample Showcase box. Note that there are tens of thousands of boxes left to be requested, so lots of chances still exist.

The Sample Showcase site is back up, but currently only for the purpose of explaining to our membership what is happening and to allow box recipients to respond to surveys. We will be open to accept orders again soon.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your continued interest, as well as your patience and understanding.

And please give our terrific member services folks a break and refrain from emailing them to ask "when" or to tell us how bad this was - we know we messed up.
