Remember When game .....

The first time a salesperson said, "may I help you, Mam" or "may I help you Sir" That was when I felt really grown up (Sir not Mam).

Never mind what he/she called you......remember when they asked?

When Yoo-Hoo was called Choc-ola and Big Red was Creme soda.....

Phosphate sodas - Chocolate-phosphate (aka Chocolate soda), Lime-phosphate (aka Green River).
Root beer floats (aka Black-cow)

Cloth diapers and diaper pails :34:

Remember when there were other department stores (besides Macys)_

Buffums, Bullocks, Robinsons, Broadway, Hess's, May Company, Walker Scott, Lazarus.............

The Yummies retail store in Kittery, Maine is a super sweet superstore of sugar! Yum! :bigok:

As a young(er) Preco :05: I used to spend a lot of time in Maine.....having lobsters, crabs and steamed clams on the docks of Booth Bay Harbor......nice memories.

Also used to rent houses on Frye Island in Lake Sebago.....that's where I learned to golf and canoe....I've forgotten how to golf! LOL

There was this famous restaurant (name escapes me) under this huge bridge that had the most outrageous fish chowder......my Dad knew all the "hole in the wall's"....good eating.:)

That was when seat belts weren't mandatory and we sat on the bump in the middle of the first row of the huge car.......we didn't know it, but we were taking our life in our hands.....it's a wonder we all survived.

I also used to crack open the thermometers and 'play' with the mercury  ....didn't affect me none....

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me - remember when you weren't wearing a seat belt, fell asleep behind the wheel, totaled the '65 white Mustang with the red leather interior and needed $20,000 worth of face reconstructive and dental surgery and the insurance premiums sored? :wof:

Thanks preco!

The little balls of mercury rolling around were pretty cool though :teeth:

We used to nap on the shelf under the rear window of the car.

"We don't need no stinkin' seatbelts"

Or "shared" the rear seat well with their brother/sister in your 1960's era VW bug?
