Thanks Selzer and music2myear. I really don't use the full blown functionality of the nntp, mail, etc that mozilla offers so perhaps I will check out FireFox.

BTW, music2myear, I noticed your icon...came across this a few weeks ago, and considering your signature on your post, thought you might like to see it ;-)

Nice, :) I guess (please take this in good humor) that it just goes to show that you can still pull the wool over the smartest of them. And maybe seeing things in Black and White helps sometimes.

In honor of Sparkie, I will now attempt to be cool. (i.e. use FireFox :D )

Ok, I just wanted to give this a quick bump, and in the process let people know about Firefox Extensions ... they are addons for firefox that add lots of neat new features ... for example I have one that shows me the weather, and another one that shows me if I have new gmail messages.

Find the extensions here:
http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/

I started to use FireFox. The tab browsing is very cool. But some websites just don't work. Anybody knows how to fix it? Any extensions needed?
For example: hotmail.com, or this LINK that I just grabbed from Spoofee homepage. I got same error "... could not be found. Please check the name and try again."

Aside from this, I can use FireFox exclusively... Otherwise, I still need IE.

I had no problem accessing the AE link that you posted... Hotmail's just goofy anyway, but it usually works for me

As for hotmail, etc.. not working.. that's a Microsoft thing, u'll find a lot of the Microsoft pages themselves don't work for non-microsoft browsers correctly.. coincidence? i think not.

<3 firefox except sometimes i have to use IE for downloads by FF gets confused =[

never really had a problem with any downloads in FF or Moz if the rest of the page loads correctly, sometimes it's a matter of right-clicking on the link and hitting 'save link target as...' but i just get into the habit of doing that with everything. basically the issue with that is some files try to load as text in the browser if the browser doesn't know what the extension is.

ooh.. another fun thing for Moz/FireFox users.. check out http://www.iosart.com/foxytunes/firefox/ it's an extension that lets you control media players (WMP/Winamp/itunes/whatever) via Mozilla browsers.. gotta love new toys.. ;)
