The procedure that I had done a few weeks ago, did not work in helping with the headaches. My neurologist found out that my insurance covered Botox injections. Today, I had my first round. They were done in my forehead, scalp and neck. I'm praying that the Botox actually works, because we have tried everything and if it doesn't work, they are sending me to a headache clinic up in MI.

My friend had botox injections for headaches too. She had the muscles over and in between the eyebrows done. She was bummed that it was too low of a dose to iron out her wrinkles though... and she could still use the muscles for facial expressions, they just didn't "tense up" on their own.

It sounds like you got a little more done that she did. I hope it loosens up your muscles and gives you some relief!

Thanks so much! My dr. actually told me that it would get rid of all the wrinkles(not that I have any), lift my eyelids and all. I was thrilled to hear that! I don't care about the cosmetic part of it, I just want the headaches gone. I was injected about 30-40 times today.
