That's not the pic I took, but I did take a pic and I was afraid to get close! lol It moves so quick! I finally identified it and they have no interest in biting humans! Whew!

Why am I posting so much this morning?

Because my daughter has a 102.6 temp and we're not able to go to the parade. BIG BUMMER!

Now the question is... we have three BBQs that our family was invited and I, of course, said we'd go. Do I go to them all by myself? Sans kids and the husband who is going to watch them?

This is a bummer.

imo, depends on your hubby. Is he ok spending the day with the kids? I know sick kids will wear you down. Also, who invited you? Do you or your husband know them better? Maybe you and hubby can take turns (each go to one) and skip the third. :confused: Sorry your plans are twisted around and hope your daughter gets well soon. :)
 
They are all "family" friends, but they were initially my friends.

He'll be fine with the kids.

It's just that most of my friends have young kids and I don't want to "infect" anyone. I don't even want any of my friends' kids to get sick within the next week and have the opportunity to "blame" our family- even though we all go to the same sports center during the week where all the kids play together. I'm probably just over-thinking and projecting. I do that. I should probably just go, have a brat and beer and take the chance to relax, right?
