Are you a sneezer or cougher? I know there are a lot of us "silent" sufferers out there - the ones who keep it all in the sinuses and feel pressure/get headaches/etc. It may not be obvious, but I bet there are more than you think! You know how misery just loves company. I hope yours clear up soon. :)

Oh my, we are just starting the allergy season and my heart goes out to any sufferer out there, especially the kids. Try more natural remedies first...teas, nasal massage, make changes to your home environment if you can. If I can help, email me.:)

Just curious... do you subscribe to Kinesiology Therapy for Allergies? something about magnets and movement? Also acupressure/acupuncture?

I have friends who are just getting into this type of thing. I saw your post and I wondered...

I tried acupunture once, but developed jaundice. That's right, poor Kirby...

I do indeed feel that acupunture/acupressure/reflexology are all valuable forms of medical practice. For allergies however, it takes up to twenty sessions until relief is noticed! As such, I personally am to lazy to wait that long for relief! Have used acupuncture myself for back pain, and, GYN types of pain (cover your eyes men and move to the next thread!) For children with allergies, I would not however recommend the practice for kids under five years old, maybe a bit older. Their EENT systems are still not totally developed and it would be difficult to diagnosis underlying problems. But, if an adult is patient, and, wants to go the twenty sessions, I say what's to loose? Many insurance companies will indeed pay for the practice. The only difficulty that I can see with Magnetic Therapy is that it is transient in effect and duration.

Twenty acupuncture sessions? My aunt does this and I only need a couple of sessions for things to start getting better.

I have not celebrated an anniversary yet and I've been going out with a guy for almost five months now.

P.S. Ragnarok--I do drink tea but I heard that Neti pots really help clear the nose. I'm afraid to use it!

I just recalled a dream from last night.... My garden grew lots of very large zucchini and tons of tomatoes.....

Last year was not a good gardening year here, wonder what this means....:hmmmm:

My name is Daniel, but I wouldn't touch interpreting that dream for all the gold in Babylon

Stuart Mackenzie: So, Charlie tells me you're a butcher.
Harriet Michaels: Yes, I am a butcher.
Stuart Mackenzie: Do you link your own sausage?
