Hopefully this will be one like we had a few years ago. The wind came in far ahead of the rain. the kids and I went kite flying in about 40 mph winds. It was a blast!
 
Preco, that was a tornado, and it didn't end well for the broom rider with the red shoes.
 
Hmmm.... the 11:00 hurricane forcast has Fay heading straight for us here in Fort Myers. It is going to be an interesting next couple of days.

No, been here since 73. Most of the time everything closes for nothing, but I do keep an eye on it. Charlie was close but even then we sat on the doorstep eating ice cream through most of it. Thank goodness I did not stock the freezer with all my Blue Bunny ice cream yet.
 
My favorite pastime for this type of storm is to watch the first-timers at Wal-Mart.
Well, yes, perhaps I am mean, heartless, and cruel, but at least I make the best of it.
