We have called the phone. It's been turned off. Goes straight to voicemail. Someone cheked the voicemail 3 times. We can check the activity online. No other calls have been made from it. They may have taken the sim card out and put their own in and are using it. Makes me mad. It'll be $300 to replace with the new model.

Where was it taken from? The house? The car? Can it be covered under your homeowner's policy?

It was taken from work. We'll be reporting it stolen to the cell company this afternoon. My hubby talked to security at work. Nothing.

Since it's a valuable item, can he file a claim through the company's insurance?
 
Hmmmmm...have not thought of that. Will look into it. It may end up being easier to just buy the new phone. We are now paying for a plan with no phone for him to use. LOL I think the company will say they are not responsible for that sort of thing. I would like to know who took it and have them out of there.

I don't know where your husband works....with the public, in a closed office, etc......:noidea: If it were in a closed 'office' situation, I'd really be p.o.'d with my thieving co-worker! :mad:

If his 'contract' is up, he maybe able to get a good discount on a new one with a 're-commitment'.....

Perhaps you can get a used phone and activate it until your contract is up and then get the ones with the bells and whistles at a discount?

You can probably pick one up cheap on Craigs, Ebay, Freecycle, etc..... I'm not sure of the 'activation charge' or other charges....just a thought.
 
Call the carrier and see what they can do for you. Since they got the SIM card (which is the property of the carrier, not you), They're gonna have to be involved to issue another SIM card.

Yippee... I just checked email. I have been chosen to be a secret shopper at Long horn... then to top it off I got my free Long horn B-Day dessert! Whoopie!
I also got my free birthday Red Robin burger!
Then I got a survey from Survey Spot that is paying me 15.00 for product test! Whoo hoo! I feel so victorious!!!! LOL

Dag!!! Where do you live??? We have mattress outlet stores here that sells them for as little as $200 for Full size...

Google Mattress outlets in your area....maybe theres a couple of places you havent checked.:convinced:
