I suspect you aren't seeing banned users posting. You may be seeing previous posts from a person who is currently banned. Some people used to "goof around by typing in banned themselves," which is why the rules were recently modified to prohibit that practice as well.

Thanks, monkfish! That clarifies things. But they banned the use of "moderatorette" ...but it's so dern cute!

Well, cute is subjective.
But read carefully. They didn't ban the title. They banned people from using particular titles which may be misleading.

It's snowclumping outside. Supposed to be raining. Instead, huge blobs of snow are falling out of the sky. argh

Yikes! After I read the rules I clicked on the link listing infringments and they're point value! I read it wrong and thought I had broken every rule!!

Then I realized that was just the list showing what I could have done wrong! Doh!

I agree Drifa it is cute :)

Every forum area has rules posted on the top, they're mostly the same (coupons has a posting standards, freebies a posting guide).

If anyone has questions about the forum / spoofee.com the best place to have them answered is here or Pm a mod, the list can be found here.

Now my odd comment, well question really...... Why can I find nothing when I'm meaning to shop and everything when I'm not? :sus:

It's really just the same phenomenon, viewed from two different frames of reference, so it looks like a paradox. The universe tends towards maximum randomness. When you find deals without meaning to shop, you are not finding what you need. When you want to shop and can't find the deals, once again, you are not finding what you need. I could write you an equation for it, but I don't think this forum supports MathType. :p

I SO get this! I hardly ever buy clothes. Being a stay at home mom I don't need much. But I'm always walking the mall "Ohhing" and "Ahhing" over cute stuff. Until I have a reason to buy something and think to myself- "Self, you're going to buy whatever you see that you like, no matter how much it costs!" Then I swear elves must run through the mall ahead of me and hide all the cute stuff!

I've also noticed this trend when I'm pregnant. The trends get especially cute until I lose enough weight to wear them and then BLAM! They go ugly again!

Look what the cat dragged in...

Glad to hear, how are the wee primates doing?

Do my eyes deceive me??? Did I just enter a bizarro Spoofee site? :noidea:

The last time I has theses types of visions, my wife switched out my Maker's Mark for cheap store brand swill.

Is it you?? is it really ...really you???

Why diGriz, is that a bottle opener in your pocket, a skinny flask or are you happy to see me? :05:

I'm all better! That's good news. :)

Santa Claus is coming to town! How is that for good news?

Both good news. Thank you.

Sample of my day yesterday. Keep in mind this is on top of the more serious issues which I will not discuss here...

Came downstairs in the am to find the dog left 2 special gifts on the carpet-one of each. My 5 year old follows me downstairs to get ready for school, see the poop, and throws-up all over the carpet. ...haven't even poured coffee yet.

Put the coffee on. Come back and find some malfunction has prevented the coffee from entering the pot and there's a coffee river flowing over the counter and across the floor to a coffee lake under the oven.

DH has kiefed all the travel mugs. Can't take any coffee w/me (2nd pot) to lug the kids to school. Uncaffinated I have to listen to the 3 year old cry the whole way home because he "lost my brudder!"...he means he misses his brother and wants him home so they can play video games

When I get home, after several rolls of paper towels and 2 cans of carpet cleaner, I take 5 to readjust and have my cup of coffee (finally) the 3 year old who is in underwear for 2 weeks now and overall doing well comes and lets me know he has to "poop".."OK, go in the potty and go"
He takes me literally and heads off to the bathroom. When I follow him in a minute later he has pooped. Just didn't bother to take off his underwear and sit on the toilet.

I make him a little pizza for lunch. He helps. It's the last one in the house. When I tried to take it out of the oven a little piece is stuck on the rack and the little extra pressure to get it off makes it flip upside down in my 425 degree oven. All the cheese and sauce is now on the bottom of my oven. I can't scoop it out because it's like liquid metal.

......so all this by noon and the rest of the day just kept the theme. And then DH comes home and says, "By the way, tomorrow instead of giving you a day off I'm getting up early and going hunting and you get to do soccer and everything else, (like clean the oven)...do you mind?"

This job just doesn't pay enough!

Oh Man! That all sucks big time. :-( We (main care giver) parents have had times like these...and they blow. I'm sorry you had a crappy day. You deserve chocolates, champagne, roses and a day at the spa. Those are my wishes for you. (And for you not to lose your mind LOL) :) Vent any time you need to.

Cyber, I've had those days....they are not fun.......:(

Since today is 'hunting day' for him.....is tomorrow 'spa day' for you?:sus:
