Because he lets out all the anger and frustration that has been pent up inside while he had to be good at work.

Personally, when I find myself screaming, "COME ON!! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!! ARGH!!" is when I turn it off and walk away. I dont play the game to get frustrated. I play the game to have fun.

102 degrees in the wee boy is just too hot. It's Dr. time...again.

Hope he's okay. And that you dont get it.

I second that!

When our oldest was little, she was sick constantly. We'd do a round of antibiotics and 2 weeks later she'd be on'em again. finally the Dr. asked if she was in daycare, etc. around other kids. The only exposure she has was nursery at church. Dr. said to keep her away from other kids for 6 weeks to let her immune system recover, because the antibiotics weaken your immune system. We did what he said and the problems ceased.

He seems to be sick throughout most of the school year.

We have an appt. at 11:30. The Dr's office kept asking if his neck hurt. So far it's been fever at about 102 for 2 1/2 days. Severe headache, now a stomach ache and he says he feels really dizzy off and on. Poor little guy. I want to fix him. :(

I have never made tomato soup. I will have to look for a recipe online. I like to just throw stuff together and cook. Usually turns out well. Complicated recipes make me nervous. They can be intimidating.

 I just had a V-8.

You only get smacked  if you don't have a V-8!

Faerie - hugs & prayers for your boy!!!! Let me know how your tomato soup goes. That is my favorite soup of all but I have never made it from real tomatoes! :hungry:

OK, good news is, it's not strep. They tested for it in the office. Bad news is, they are not quite sure what is wrong. Could be a viral infection. So no antibiotics at this point. They want me to keep a close eye on him. If he gets worse or has different symptoms, let them know right away.

Also, there will be no tomato soup making. He is only supposed to have thin things. No dairy, no soy milk, nothing heavy, thick or creamy.

Faerie, have you heard of a product called 'Airborne'? It's a vitamin-mineral-herbal immune system booster sold over the counter. They make a children's version of it too. We use it and it seems to help.
One of the kid's versions is like a pixie stix.

Here is the link to a sample of the kids version of Airborne Dan was speaking of. I hope your son feels better soon.

I dont think she has time to wait for the sample to arrive, Joyce. But nice looking out. Im gonna ask for one for my nephew..

Airborne is just a combination of vitamins. Multivitamins would do the exact same thing and is cheaper. Last I heard it hadn't even been proven by the FDA to be effective. The study that they always reference has been done by the company that manufactures Airborne.

Faerie, be sure to watch his arms and legs for a rash...at the first sign of one call the doctor and get him to the ER. I hope he feels better soon!

Thanks guys. I did send for the free sample. And I do agree that a basic multivitamin would be helpful. I have trouble with remembering to give them vitamins. LOL One complains and the other does not bring it up.

At first I think the concern was meningitis. Then strep, but that was ruled out. The Dr. did mention rash and any pain that does not go away in 15 minutes. I have both eyes trained on him. My little guy has to be OK. He's so sweet and smart. I just want to snuggle him up. But I can't. I can't get it too. So there are hugs while I hold my breath and then I wash my hands. haha
