I dunno...but he's 25 and recently moved to Brooklyn, should I send him over?

A good cheap boat ride is the Staten Island Ferry (it's free!) and you can have a beer on your ride too! (that's not free :p ). The South Street Seaport is also nice this time of year...

Have you been to the Empire State Building?

What type of things do you like? Romantic? Sporty? Will you have a car?

I'll be there August 30th. He got tickets for the US Open and is taking me there in the evening. We just don't know what to do beforehand.

I haven't been to the Empire State Building, but its something like $30 to go up to the 86th and 102nd floor, seems a bit pricey just to ride an elevator.

I'm up for almost anything, but I don't know him that well so trying to find things to please both of us is hard.

We'll both have cars, and I think he knows the subway system so transportation won't be a problem.

How about one of the museums, or the Art Gallery? You can get lost in that thing for hours!! :) Opt for FREE where possible! How about this "I Love New York Tourism Guide?" http://www.iloveny.com/ Maybe the two of you can look around on the site and come up with some ideas! Good luck, enjoy and be safe! Rags :wave:

Is it just my computer or is the site running slow tonight? I keep getting "page cannot be displayed" page and I had a hard time even signing in. :convinced:

I'm going out this weekend...girls night out. Bowling then karaoke. I'm pretty excited!

I'm a fan of the Professor Harold Hill system. Make yourself a nice cup of tea (or coffee), put some music on, sit back, and think about how nice the house will look all cleaned up.

Repeat the procedure several times a day for a few weeks, and see how much better everything is.
