We lived out in the country and didnt have cable. I didnt see MTV unless I was at somebody else's house and until I got my own place in the late 90's......

On the plus side.....if you listen closely, w/n the first 20 seconds you can hear what sounds like pop (they were talking about orange juice at the moment though) being poured into a glass.
