Thanks, Preco. But I'm not sure what Tigger has to do with my post. I was talking about Tiger, and unless I'm much denser than I've been willing to admit, Hobbes is a tiger (please note the spelling, with an h-o-double b-e-s).

I appreciate your effort, but I don't think that what you thought I was saying is what I thought I was saying. What do you think?:convinced:

That is too weird - I was thinking the same thing.....Hobbes is a tiger......I love Calvin & Hobbes.....I like the Far Side too....

The way it was written was as if his name was "Tiger" (note capitalization of the letter "T" as a proper name), otherwise it would've been written, "Hooray for the tiger" (not the article 'the' and the lower case "t" reflecting the species, not a 'name'.)

Again, were you talking about the tiger, Hobbes? (note the article "the" and the lower case "t").

FYI Tigger is a tiger too! ;)

Unless, I'm totally off and Calvin calls Hobbes, "Tiger"?:doh:

You did catch the key cue that I was talking about someone named "Tiger", who pulled off a very exciting win this afternoon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I used the Calvin and Hobbes illustration because it's a nice image of a celebratory tiger.

Calvin doesn't seem really to address Hobbes by any title very often. I was going through The Days Are Just Packed, and the only formal address I found was when Calvin was upset and called Hobbes "flea feast".

what is the name of that shower thing that you turn on and it sprays and cleans the shower.......???? I want to try to find a coupon for it.......

K-Ma, are you talking about the Scrubbing Bubbles automatic shower cleaner?

I've heard that it doesn't work all that well, but you can buy after shower cleaner in a spray bottle (there are several brands) that work well. (The problem with the shower cleaner is it only sprays a certain area and the refills are kinda pricy.)

Thanks girl! I thought it might work for our single shower stall - I dont use it that much (no room!) but hubby does. I thought it would help between cleanings and I already got the shower caddy free from a post here several months ago.
 
anytime! I may not be good at it, but I know the technical aspect of domestic stuff!

(just please don't tell my mom...she'll make me put the technical knowledge to practical use!)
 
Does anyone know if Elton John and Stevie Nicks have done a duet? I heard a song earlier and it sounded like the two of them seperatley, but when they sang together it didn't sound like them. I was paying close enough attention to hear what the song title was.
