Use the online rebate provided by spoofee. Its a different rebate that doesnt expire until october sometime. thats how.

Did everybody who got the chair have an ad in their local area that advertised the chair at $49.99? My local ad advertises it as $79.99, and it becomes $29.99 after rebate, so I have been hesistant to do this deal. However, it seems like from what people are posting, I could just call my local OM and ask them to ring up the chair and see how much it is. If it rings up as $49.99, then I am on the deal!

The ad in the store had a different chair on it. I printed out the ad for our local area from OMX website which had the chair advertised at 49.99 (Click on weekly instore specials on the main page, Choose state and then city to get your Local online ad).

if your online local ad shows 49.99 then you are in luck

Yea, I did that and mine ended up being the $29.99 after rebate offer for that same chair others are getting FAR. However, I think I will go ahead and call them and ask them to ring it up. Who knows, maybe it will ring up $49.99 as well. Thanks!

I have to admit that OM rebates was very bad BEFORE!!!
But recently, I have bought many many stuff from them with mail-in rebate.
And it turns out I received all of them!

And you know what! I GOT MINE TODAY too... Honestly, the chair is not the good or fancy. But hey, FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, right? So no big deal!!

For those who haven't got it yet! You guys should go as soon as possible! I truely believe that this is a price ERROR! Because, the mail-in rebate receipt says 99.99. I think the ad was supposed to be After mail-in rebate 49.99! NOT before mail-in rebate!

Just print out the rebate form on the spoofee page. It's good for purchases made from July 11th through September 18th

I just got mine. I had to print out my local ad on the internet and take it up to show them. It then rang up for $49.99 after all. The rebate came with my receipt too.

Great deal.
 
On the receipt, does it state something about Promotion? According to some other forums, the rebate may not work since it is not valid for any promotion. Can someone clarify this?
 
On the sales receipt, it says promotion, but i don't think you need to send in the sales original receipt, because they will print out a rebate receipt at the register!! It says 99.99 instead of 49.99. So, I think it should be fine!!

Store here in FLA they rang up $80. Screwed again!

I did find a Cendyne DVD burner there in the in-store special bin for $50 though... Anyone know of any rebates on these?
 
Little bit confused

OM receipt is showing that original price is $99.99 and PROMO DISCOUNT $50. The New price is $49.99

The online MIR form has a condition "Offer not valid with any other rebate, offer or promotion". It seems to me that it may not work. Any idea?
 
Managers Chair

Rebate is still good. I just bought one in Ann Arbor, MI. Rang up 49.99 printed out $50.00 Rebate. Rebate says must be purchased between 7/18 and 7/24. Clerk was really surprised went and got Manager and he said if there was any problem He would override and pay the rebate. :) :D
 
Called Rebate Center

I called the officemax rebate center and they said they'd be accepting the register receipts as well as the online form. The dates on the register form are an error and they will be going by the promotion code which matches on the register form and the online form. Make sure you keep copies of all you items, Officemax is know for having "problems" with some rebates. Store manager said they'll honor the rebate if there are any problems. WE WILL SEE!
 
I got the chair in $49.99 in western Pennsylvania. The manager there said that its for $129.99 and that was what was printed on their circular. Then I went home got the printout and then they said that its wrong one and checked on the website again. When they rang it up, it was $99.99 - $50 = $49.99 and the manager said you can't get any other discount but strangely the rebate for $50 printed after that :). Store manager was shocked :). But soon they called their officemax HQ to report that this is an error. I could see the whole store people go bersek ;)
 
Here in Dayton OH I just went to get the chair and the tag said $99.99. I talked to an employee and told her about the ad for the Dayton area in which it said 49.99. She said that was after rebate. I got home and checked it again and there was no mention of rebate. I printed it out and I will be back in as soon as I can.
I got the distinct impression they had already dealt with this situation and that I was getting the ol' run around.

Looking at the online rebate form...in the fine print it states that the rebate is not valid in combination with any other offer or promotions. Unfortunately, there is a promotion code printed on my receipt (the code the cashier used to bring the price down to 49.99).

Also, if I try to use the rebate form that was printed at the register at time of purchase, it clearly says in the fine print that the rebate period ends on 7/18........SO IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE SCREWED EITHER WAY !!!

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE ON THIS? I guess I'll have to return the chair otherwise..... :(
 
Rebate should work

The rebate that printed with my receipt said 7/18-7/24 I even had to send the rebate and upc code to an address and then something with 7/18-7/24 in it. It should work. I dont know why everyone is getting different dates on the rebates..
I got my chair in the detroit area..

Purchased This Chair Today, Rand Up At 49.99, NO rebate printed at register, reciept says promo on it. Not sure if I shuld take it back or try the online rebate.
