Memorex Progressive Scan DVD Player for $14 or $19 *ymmv

Ok I'm a little pissed off now. I'm seeing everyone getting the deal to work w/o a hitch. I think I'm gonna take back the player and try a different sears. BTW... when yall were getting the players did you buy it online for pickup or did you just buy it in store?

Kage_, it took a while for me to get my purchase going also, when its all said and done, i still paid $27.xx for it. thats still more then you. i bought in store.

my co-worker tried out this deal and he was only able to get it to match "$34" from the homedepot price but should get his rebate. this was at a different location then mine.

well he got his rebate form signed, i was the one who didnt. the friendly sears rep refused to give me my rebate and copy receipt.

Yea I ended up returning it. It wouldn't of been so bad, but when I would play a DVD it would buzz. Not to bad when the movie is rocken, but during the quiet parts it was reallllly agervating. I'll take a look @ the one they have now.

I got one today

I went today. They did not give me a problem. The total was $22.15. And I got a rebate form for $10 off. This is for the 2042. We have no sales tax in my state. I haven't used the player yet. but for $12.15, who cares if it doesn't work perfectly.

Got me one yesterday.. they had a special friends and family event, so got an extra 10% off!

It comes out to about $13 AR

Tested it out last night, played all my DVD +R, and -Rs with no problem, and its got a pretty fast load up time

Can't ask for more than that out of a $13 dvd player! :)
