Memorex 512mb Travel Drive for Free + Make $10 After Rebate

i am gonna either go tommorrow or on wendesday to try this

Checked back with CC and i got the deal!

59.99 then price back - 38.50
Rebates - 20 and - 15

Make $13.21!

I've done a ton of these deals before, this is the best way to do it. First, go buy the drive at normal price. When checking out, ask for an extra copy of the recipet. Go put the rebates and original recipet into the car then go back in with the copy recipet and flyer. Get them to pricematch. If that doesn't work, wait till the promotion period at CC ends then get the pricematch.

Or buy it online for in-store pickup. They'll never see the receipt/rebates that way

I don't believe this will totally work for the folks who got in on the previous deal. It appears that the $15 rebate is the same # and I believe it is 1 per household. So it would reduce the final outcome to $5.00, instead of making $10.00.

Old rebate #s = PA05U ($20) and MEM ($15)
New rebate #s = PA07Y ($20) and MEM ($15)

It worked well for me in Fort Collins, CO: $59.99-$35*110% + $1.44 tax = $22.93 before $35 rebates. I stopped by Office Depot first to pick up the ad and make sure they had them in stock. In fact, at Circuit City while I was checking out, another employee asked how long Office Depot had them on sale because she wanted to buy one. I tried to explain the whole price match and rebate thing, but she wasn't listening.

Whenever I do a price match at Circuit City, I do it when I'm checking out; I find it easier that way instead of going out to my car and coming back in. I don't understand why you wouldn't just do it during checkout.

what if u say to those people in CC that this is your second purchase of the same item and that u cant get **** from the rebate... wouldnt that enough reason to give u PM?

No Problems Here!

Went to CC today, OD ad in hand. Took the item up to the service counter, guy did a PM, amount shows $21.49+1.59 tax for total of $22.99.

Gives me both of the rebate forms, out the door I go.

:bigok: FYI, for those who did the rebate a few weeks ago, this is NOT the same exact deal. On the $15 form the offer number is different then the last one, and on the $20 form the Program number is different as well. Also, it states on receipt that items must be purchased 01/08/06 thru 01/14/06

THANKS OP for posting another great find! :claps:

great deal!

hey, just thought I'd add a word. I ordered it online for instore pickup, went in and asked for a pricematch, they called OD, had it in stock, and I walked away only having paid $22.50 for it. :D I expect I'll get my rebates too. Great deal!

I could not get the price match. The sales associate said that the model numbers did not match.....bummer.

I also live in Fort Collins, CO.

Purchased the flash drive on Wednesday (1 left on peg) went home. Today I walked back in with the OD flyer for pricematch.

The cashier said numbers didn't match so she was going to research it online. I said, "let me show you where they are stocked on display.

She went over, looked at the empty display and read the info on the peg tag. Walked back over to me and said they matched. Gave me the price match and all went well.

The same thing happened on the Netgear router deal that was posted last saturday.

When you come back for price match only bring your receipt. They hand it back to you and issue a credit to your CC.

Got the price match when I bought it...but computer prints out that it was a
price match on the receipt....does the fact that it says that ruin my
chances of a rebate ???..anyone know...

I bought the flash drive but when i went back in they wouldnt pricematch the office depot drive because they dont have the same manufacture #'s HELP!?!
