I'd say either Pizzeria Uno or Pizzeria Due, or Geno's East. My huband would tell you Lou Malnati's is the best. Giordano's is good, too.

I was just joking!LOL I would never impose like that!!:tongue: Anyway, I talked to my aunt tonight and she said it looks like it will work out, if not there are plenty of hotels. I may be a freebie loader, but I'm not a freeloader!!LOL

We have an Uno's here in the lou, their deep dish is very good. But, we will want to go someplace we have never been, so one of those other restaurants should work out just fine. You are not going to believe this, but I have heard of Geno's(just surprised myself)!lol I have heard Geno's deep dish is to die for. Told hubby about the ideas you gave and he says he's game!!:claps:

The original Pizzeria Uno is much better than the Uno Grill chain. Uno Grill can't seem to get the crust right. They always burn it.

It's not unusual to have a 45-60 minute wait to be seated at Uno or Due.

Geno's East is really good. It's my mom's favorite. :teeth:

Geno's East is the restaurant where we will most likely go. Thx, for reminding me about them, I heard they were really good but I had almost forgotten all about the place! LOL When I told my husband about the places you suggested we visit, he said that it sounded like fun! Well, I will stop bugging you, besides I have got to get some sleep. Maybe I can get in a couple of hours before my baby boy wakes up!:yawn: I have to get on some kind of "normal" sleep cycle!! Though, I don't see that happening anytime soon!LOL :yawn: LOL

My personal favorite is Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder. Their food is AMAZING and it's my favorite place to go when ever I go out to eat downtown. The Mediterranian Bread is to die for and their oven grinders (which are kind of like calzones) are delicious. They're a little pricey and they only accept cash, which kinda sucks, but at the same time, that's the only downfall they have. Hope you like my suggestion!

Really? My friend and I went there a couple week ago. I thought it was really lousy. You can't even choose the toppings you want, and the sauce tastes like Ragu.

(Although I didn't get a chance to try the Mediterranean bread!)

Sherrie, follow the instructions in the original post. There is a coupon code you need to enter. They have buses in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
