yeah my son can definitely use $100. He's going to an ENT today.Going to find out about cutting his finalum (Can't spell sorry but it's the piece under your tongue. His is so short he can barely talk and people can barely understand him. Should've been cut b4 age 2 yrs but the drs said w/ therapy we could "stretch" it ..he had plenty of speech therapy and still it's hard for him to be understood and it gets frustrating. When he was 5 I decided to have it cut b/c therapy wasn't working and the dr's all told me we'd now have to wait till he was at least 18 ! (The darn dr's got u coming and going). I asked why and they said his tongue and muscles are now growing and will grow till about age 18 yrs old! When he was 18 he said he wasn't going to have it done! Well he was no longer a minor so I couldn't make him go. Well he's finally coming to the realization that it's holding him back in work so we're going today for a consultation. His insurance will cover 20% up to $1000 for an entire year.sooooooooooo Looks like I'll have to dig a bit into the IRA again (No income w/ me fighting for SSD w/ an attorney and hubby still fighting for his ssi except for my son)! So his $100 will come in handy toward the minor surgery!
