My husband hasn't received his yet either, when he called he was told that he would have to wait till April and if he didn't receive it by then he should call them. Thanks for nothing.
 
well I can't believe this, they ended up sending me 2 notebooks and the camera?
should I keep the extra notebook or call them and ask to send it back? or maybe the knew it and did this as a act of kindness, goodwill, or whatever you want to call it.
 
there was a tracking number on both of the boxes but I was never given them at all in the Email they sent me , just said that my prize was on the way in 7-10 days UPS GROUND
All I see is a package number ID. thats it, not sure what you mean about a reference #?
 
Your so lucky. You dont have to send it back ill be glad to take it off your hands since you already got one and the camera and all i got was the fishing pole....
 
netbook ram

ok does anyone know this, the 1 gb ram is just not fast enough for my taste can it be upgraded to more and if so how much will it take. The book as how to change it out but doesn't really address this question. Thanks.

was wondering the same thing...could not find the answer on samsung site or review sites, but it has to be upgradable....question is? is there 2 memory slots so i can add another 1gb or will i have replace current 1gb with a 2gb stick

I'm on the phone w/ marlboro now.. can't understand how they're sending them out might be by zipcodes. If anyone in the Jacksonville or NE Florida area has received a netbook I'd love to know. She's not sure. I know free is free but being as bedridden as i am was counting on this to help me out.
Seems a lot of people who changed from the camera to the netbook are getting their orders filled first.
Am I missing something??????
The lady I spoke to was very nice and kept appologizing and like i told her I was just checking on my order as was my husband!

I am still waiting on my netbook too and I am in Tennessee. I have called twice and I have received the answer-that it has not been processed yet and that it would take 14-16 weeks. I ordered mine on 12/16 as soon as the final points were put in. It was posted earlier in this thread that they were out of stock and that they would be shipped sometime in April but when I called they did not tell me that so I don't know but I sure wish it would hurry and get here so I'm not constantly looking for the UPS man.
 
it does say it can take up to 16wks so they are still within the time frame, I know I got mine already but its only been what a couple of months around 8-9 weeks , just saying if it hasn't come yet
you might just want to wait till the 14week hits and then start looking out for it
 
i called and asked if its been shipped yet they said no but are sending me a zippo lighter for my waite. also got in the mail 2 ash trays and 2 bottle openers that you mount to a wall

I know me too! Esp since a lot of those that have received them did NOT receive an email that they were shipped ..some did some didn't!
I too did mine on Dec 16th 2010! At 12:01:07 am!! (I've still got my screen shot). and hubby's was done at 12:03:38 am same day!
They told me they haven't been shipped BUT that they hav ben proessed. Hubby got his coffee cup (Piece of junk go for the zippo) and I got the zippo which is a brushed crome but an actual zippo!!!
Hey Free is Free and I was very polite as usual , but the fact that the person I got wanted to just appologize. The Last contest I ordered the Boots and I only got them the end of January but were supposed to be to me in time for Christmas(but this wasn't Marlboro's problem it was Luchesse's). All in all I've gotten everything except the netbook for myself, and my husband is still waiting for his.
My daughter on the otherhand is waiting or her bike which won't be till june (if earlier) and she did get the leatherman tool. But we're also waiting for the jerky. No offense but a package of jerky shouldn't take this long! LOL!
Ok so now here we go again s/ the Snus , but it's a game of sheer chance! Oh well! as long as its free I suppose we'll always be going thru these ups and downs! But at least w/ Marlboro their prizes are worth the wait.The Luchesse boots were worth over $200 according to the Western World near me who looked at them and generally sell boots and do sell the brand so I suppose Free for a nice prize is well worth the wait! :)
 
Received my Netbook today. Got the email yesterday that it had shipped. Called on Monday to check the statues and all they said was it was ordered so I was shocked to get it today
 
My Netbook came today, as well. I did not receive a e-mail about it shipping at all so I was very surprised and happy.
 
My husband finally got the e-mail yesterday that his Netbook shipped. And Sunninjimmy by the way, I read somewhere online that those are the boots that they give away for free at the Ranch. But I do love them and they are the most comfortable western style boots I have and I have a few.
 
I got my netbook yesterday and was surprised also as I did not get an email either. Sunninjimmy thanks again for letting me be on your team.
