Last Minute Valentine's Day Help

Don't get me wrong, I am not exactly complaining. If you noticed, I said costco's flowers are of very good quality and I continue to be their loyal customer. But yet, as a customer you can't help but get somewhat angry when "it's nothing personal, it's just business" attitude forces you to pay premium for flowers because some idiot invented Valentine's Day ( :zip: ) or pay obscene premium for gasoline because some idiot, or rather a group of idiots, control supply of oil to US from overseas.......just ventin'....

Welcome to world economy. I bet you would do the same if you're in their place. It's the law of supply and demand, and whoever can control it, might as well take advantage of it... Don't blame it on who invented the Valentine's Day, instead blame it on who made it big, who attached roses to it. Don't blame it on oil producers, blame it on industrial revolution
