Just got my $50 check today.
 
I received $60 from Kensington

I purchased this combination back in May, and have received $60 instead of $20. I did have to wait for all 3 items, since the bag was on back order. I even received the check within 3 weeks of sending it out. :bigok:

Did you bought from dell. Today i check my status from web-rebates.com, it shows error that submissions from dell are not valid, and i called kensington rebate center, they said i must got rebate-form from dell, otherwise it's valid.
Do you have some suggestion for me, thanks.

I recieved a postcard TODAY stating that submissions from Dell are not valid. I looked over the rebate form. It says nothing about Dell being invalid. I am furious and have been waiting to speak with someone at Kensington. :(
 
Same here man, that's some messed up marketing especially when a post somewhere in the beginning somebody even called in to confirm if the rebate from dell was okay and they confirmed that it was! Definitely gonna let them hear it! :mad:

I got the post card today too. I even spoke with a supervisor who refuses to honor it.

Other than the better business bureau, what can we do? I'm not acceptiong this, nor their poor attitudes. :(

I am looking into filing complaints with the attorney generals for Arizona and New York, as well with the BBB. Still doing research for any other organization that might have an interest. Any ideas??
 
My rebate was also rejected. Please keep us posted about where to complain about it when you are done finding the information
 
kensington bundle

Well...after getting nowhere with the idiots at the rebate center I decieded to call the corporate number and complain. I asked to speak with someone in the complaint dept. and the first woman I spoke with honored the rebate. I think you should all try it. There is NO reason that they won't honor the rebate. There is sonthing on the form that specifies you must purchase the bundle from one place or that others are excluded.

Thanks a lot for this information. Could you also please give the corporate number that you called? I also received a rejection letter from them and upon calling the rebate center they didn't honor the case at all - instead constantly threatened to disconnect the call. Poor attitude. Need to teach them a lesson.

I called and asked to speak with the complaint department. The woman I spoke with immediately offered me the refund and said I should get my check within 3-4 weeks. I haven't recieved it yet.

You need to call back the rebate center @ 800-268-0527 to re-instate your rebate - the problem has been fixed.

also, the rebate is time sensitive and if you do not call to re-instate it, they will not automatically honor it!

The rabate center also gave me a tracking number and to track the process of my rebate at their website www.web-rebate.com

Let's hope this problem is solved! :claps:

I called the rebate center and they told me it should come in 3 weeks-AGAIN. On the bright side of things, the woman I spoke with said that I did now qualify, so the check should make it here soon. I hope so!!!

Try www.web-rebate.com, it has great information. You needn't have your 'tracking number', just put in your last name, address & zip and your status will appear! You may also have other rebates listed from different purchases/companies as well!

I just checked mine and the Kensington check was noted as mailed yesterday! :bigok: :claps: :email: :claps:

Yeah just confirming that the rebate center is indeed re-instating the rebates so you still have time to get that hefty $50 rebate! I thought it would've been too late to call today (1/18/2006) since the card said resubmit by 1/9 but I decided I had nothing to lose. The guy on the phone was really nice about it and said there was in fact exceptions for the rebate now and he immediately validated my rebate again saying it should arrive at most 30 days. Don't let up on this chance!
