you all are great really i only drink when my husband and i go out but he is in Louisianna right now working and helping the katrina victims with getting new roofs. we had hurricane charley hit our house in 04' and people helped us so he felt it was right to go help them.
so if anyone wants they can have a drink for me until i can go out for one of my own!!!:)
but you guys are so fun and make it worth coming on here. THANKS

Some sites don't allow politics & religion to be discussed at all to the keep the peace, I for one think it is a great idea. This is a deal site and I've seen enough off topic posts to know you guys find all kinds of different stuff to talk about that has nothing to do with either take Dehawk for example. I am always surprised to see how many new threads include him in some way :tongue: .

It goes both ways & tones aren't always easy in forums so don't take everything the wrong way because in the end it really isn't all about you it's about everyone here enjoying the site in a friendly environment. That comment you might think is mean to you might just be misunderstood.

Could it be that it feels this way because the community is growing and a lot of folks are not familiar?

When anyone offends you, feel free to PM me or the moderators. We will give a note / warning to the user.. and if they continue.. they will be banned. No one should feel insulted or even threatened on here.

Preciocious also brings up a good point in that some member comments shouldn't be taken too seriously / personally.

question: what if an individual was influencing moderator(s) and collaborating to intimidate another individual?
 
The purpose of this thread was to bring to the community's attention to a 'shift' in 'tone' that I felt was happening which was not benefiting the community.

If my intentions were to have certain members warned, banned or 'punished' I could have easily accomplished that very discretely with a few pm's to any of the moderators. Instead I wanted to address the entire community so that we can all pitch in and put Spoofee 'back on track'.

I don't believe anyone has been warned or banned because of this...that was not the intention. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion however, in expressing it, they are not entitled to be rude and hurtful toward others. Just consciously be respectful (as best you can) of other members who may not agree with you. Lets learn and move along.

I read Spoofee's blog this morning and what's also a shame is that he is now wrangling kindergarten when his intentions were to create a site to share the wonderful things that he has come across.

It is spring time, and if you have kids, they do keep you busy outside this time of year. :cool:
