iPod/MP3 Portable Speakers /w Dock for $6.14 Shipped

item is really not all that great - no where worth its list price - might even consider it not worth the 6 bucks - returning my sets
 
i agree completely the thing is a pos. I got mine earlier today and its nothing like what is described on the website. I called Office Depot, they don’t really care but I got them on the description. It states that it comes with a Usb cable obviously to connect it to a iPod, I was able to convince the supervisor that it is missing because it is, and he is mailing me a iPod usb cable.

If you ask me its false advertising, it said it was a Dock its clearly not. Complete waste of money.
 
After this POS, I will never buy anything from Office Depot!
 
Got mine yesterday. Total POS! Returning it ASAP. Don't waste your time and money.
 
Got mine yesterday. Obviously misrepresented. The description calls for a docking station and a USB cable. There is no docking station (more like a flip stand) and no USB cable. False advertisement. Heading toward the store today and returning them
 
Let me know if you have any issues returning them. I haven't tried mine out.

Just got back from Office depot. The in-store will not take them back. The store rep said to call the number (1-888-GO-DEPOT) on the invoice to schedule a pickup so I did. The rep over the phone sounded foreign (heavy foreign accent) but she was helpful and was able to walk me through the refund process and scheduled a time for the pickup (for next Monday). They will ask why you are returning the item. Here's your chance what you tell them of the product.
 
For only $6, all I needed were some basic speakers to use with my iPod, and that is exactly what I got...

My expectations were not that high (thanks to this thread) and despite that, I was pleasantly surprised at the speakers that I now have for my iPod... sound quality is nothing compared to a Bose system... but for our purposes, it is more than adequate... I would compare sound quality to a clock radio...

Indeed, it is NOT a USB dock... simply a set of speakers that plugs into the headphone jack on the iPod, and the iPod simply sits on the little platform...

I have set it up in our bathroom so that my fiance can put on her makeup, do her hair, and listen to her iPod at the same time... good deal in my opinion... thanks!

Was just now able to test mine out. The only thing I can find wrong is my daughter has an Ipod nano and her headphone jack is on the bottom of the ipod, so it can't sit on the little piece of plastic. ugh
 
What a piece of junk. I don't even think this thing is worth $6 much less $50.
 
i just tried to order one online and it said the price was 49.99 so is the deal over? or is there something you have to do to get the low price???
