Wrong. 12pm refers to noon, 12am refers to midnight.
There is no such time as 12pm. There are noon and midnight, but 12:00 (either one) is neither AM nor PM.

There is no such time as 12pm. There are noon and midnight, but 12:00 (either one) is neither AM nor PM. Using AM or PM on 12:00 leads to miscommunication, such as this case.
I believe you are thinking of 24 hour time where there is not an AM or PM period.
