I still have those old little people and just gave them to my daughter :) had them stored till she got older she likes them much more then the newer ones some have plastic bodies and some have wooden ones

not available in my area havent seen it in years and nope on the sugarloaf dont think i've ever heard of it

You haven't lived. ;) I remember playing in little league and going to the ice cream truck and getting SugarLoaf, Bubble Yum and Hubba Bubba (depending on my mood).:tongue: That was the best part of the game.

Soft Drinks-10cents(only in 12 oz bottles)
Baseball cards-5 for 10cents...(and you got a stick of gum!)
a Milk Shake from the Mr. Frosty ice cream truck-65 cents
ride the Bus-5cents

Watched the swearing in of President KENNEDY on the only tv we had (12inch B/W) and also the ED Sullivan Show on Sunday nights.

Where has the time gone???

I can't believe that I am old enough for things to come back around again!
The clothes that are hot right now are nothing more than updated 80's looks. And I saw a commercial the other day for Strawberry Shortcake. They have updated her too - hair extentsions. And now you can buy the 80's video games - like 5 in one - plug it into your tv and play.

yeah isnt that amazing? bell bottoms i wore way back when are in style today so are the shirts lol should've saved them although i probably couldnt fit into them yet after my last baby lol

Yea, I'm 23, and I remember last year at Christmas they were talking on some news show about how all the "hot" toys of the year were the "RETRO" toys.

They were all the ones I had played w/as a kid, updated and brought back! My little pony, strawberry shortcake, etc. That even made me feel old!

I just saw some hubba bubba last week for the first time in a long time.Never heard of sugarloaf.
Remember the gum with the fruit juicy cream center???I think it was called tidal wave.
