Same here. While it's still a serious thing, I'm breathing sigh of relief that it is benign.

Please tell her we wish her a speedy recovery, she's over the 'big hump' and things will definitely be looking up. :)

Sigh of relief! Make sure she knows we're all cheering for her..of course if she's in a regular room today I'll be she's going to have you bring the laptop in soon!

Hopefully the pain will be easier to bear now that there is a formal diagnosis and an end in sight!

Dear Babs and Choo - I am so sorry to read about all that you've been going through! I've just noticed this thread and I'm usually never in the community rooms, so I'm pretty blown away. I am sorry I wasn't able to send words of support when they were needed most but PLEASE KNOW that you will be in my prayers tonight and I'm going to say a few extra, to make up for lost time. I am so glad to lear it wasn't malignant and I hope you've found the right dose/combo of pain meds that makes life comfortable. What did the opthamologist report, if you don't mind my asking? You will both be in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sending you a virtual brownie right now .... In my family, I'm the "brownie lady" . At every family event, a special birthday, anniversary or when someone needs cheering, I make cream cheese dark chocolate brownies. Chocolate is yummy and relaxing and makes you happy, So enjoy - calorie free! :hug:
 
Just now getting here and reading the updates on Babs surgery etc. Glad to hear that all went well and that the tumor was benign. I hope that she has a speedy recovery and that all continues to go well. Will continue to keep you both in my prayers. Take care and will be thinking of you.

Since babs hardly visits this off topic section, I will update everyone.

She is recovering well, considering surgery was 2 weeks ago. The severe headaches, the original reason for going to the hospital in the beginning, are still hanging around. She has been seeing doctor after doctor since the surgery trying to get everything back in check.
