How many people have your name?

Very rarely meet someone with the same name as me.. Melanie anyway I come across a lot of Mel's but most are Melinda or Melissa or something else entirely. I've never had a friend with the same name either. I have noticed a trend in Movies and tv lately to use the name Melanie for characters. I was always glad my parents didnt opt for a trendy name when I was born.

CHRISTINA
Gender: Feminine
Usage: English, German
Pronounced: kris-TEEN-a [key]
Feminine form of CHRISTIAN. This was the name of a Swedish queen of the 17th century who was interested in the arts and philosophy. She gave up her crown to become a Roman Catholic.

Hmm interesting...I was brought up Catholic but have since dropped it.
If I go by ratings, then neither one of those names fit me well.

what did you convert to after dropping catholicism?

the "c" in mce is for christine -- my middle name didnt realize it was such a popular name

Karen was a really popular name in the 60's and 70's but now I hardley EVER run into anyone named Karen anymore, I do have one friend Karen.
It seems so rare now. My daughters Jessica and Ashley complain there names are too common, there are always tons of jessies and ashleys every year at school, Now my girlie Aubrey has an unusual name, we did run into someone who has a doberman named Aubrey...they said it means "protector" in German.
