I'm with you on this one Dan.

BTW, when I read the title of this thread, "Honestly, do they really want to win" I thought it was going to be directed at one of the Parties. I was wondering if the Republicans really wanted to win with promoting a 72 year old white guy and a right wing inexperienced woman. Or if the Democrats really wanted to win with promoting a black liberal who has had associations with people of questionable integrity and an older white guy who has to take his foot out of his mouth to make room for the other foot who is not in the best of health.
Seems to me if I were intending to win a race or even support someone I wanted to win to race I would pick someone who was of strong mind and body, mature but not old, had sufficient experience to make it a non-issue and who's past contained no skeletons nor radical associations. Is there no one in either party who can do this?
Maybe I need to get my lantern and go search for that honest man.

Jerry, I found that good and honest man in the dark, no flashlight needed.....and I married him!:p He's not available to you! LOL

However, I'd go with the older more mature as he's more likely to fill his cabinet with knowledgeable people .......even if his health failed, he'd have put good people in the right places to continue.....and if he lives through it, good for him...:claps: :p

And if he becomes senile and makes some some "bad" decisions like his predecessor?
 
I summarized my assessment with that video. Whoever wins it will be based on donkey's in/ability and after the term winner will run away with their life.

Decided to listen DiGriz's advice - no more political posts.
