Help!!!! My children are concerned.

QVC has a website. Not sure if there are reviews listed, but you might want to check it out. I've ordered a few things from QVC.com and never had a problem.

My husband is too sweet to actually say so, but I can tell he's concerned about my obsession w/ Spoofee and w/ freebies. I suspect he thinks my freebies are just junk that clutter up the house!

My DH always complains about the clutter but I never listen. LOL

Well thank you preco!! I am a very open minded person and I can take positive/negative criticism pretty easy, and I can also laugh at myself LOL I also respect the opinions of others because if we were all alike and all had the same interests what a very boring world this would be. And yes, I AM a spoofee addict. I absolutely LOVE this site and its members. I have wondered about a support group for all of us also LOL :teeth: :p

Thanks for the info Pug!! I am not really into shopping and I thought well, what is the difference in sitting here and watching QVC or HSN than shopping online or ordering products from a catalog. But I guess it is kinda strange to some LOL And yes, I am raising 2 teenage boys, and thank you for your kind statement. It seems since they are growing older, I am finding myself alone more and more, as I am a single parent. So I occupy my time here at home with my hobbies and interests so that I can be available to them should they need something, such as Mom's taxi service, chef, bank, cleaning. Which is ok because I like to be at home.

And this one is for you Spaz!! I checked out the humane society website and they take what they call Snuggles which can be crocheted, knitted or whatever. My local animal shelter takes the Snuggles and I am almost done crocheting my first one. :woot: I will make several for them before I take them over for donation. Thank you for your information, I really do appreciate it.

i wouldnt let your kids catch you watching it. but i bet they would beg you to keep watching hsn if they did!! LOL


actually i have things from hsn~ wolfgang pucks cookwear~ love it quality stuff.

LOL Yeah I know if it was something they liked they would beg me to keep watching or if something was on there they wanted they would beg me to buy it!!

That is cool!! Glad to know that it was quality stuff. I don't watch HSN or QVC ALL the time, just when I am channel surfing and something catches my eye, like the craft items or kitchen gadgets or the home decor (candles, bedding etc). In my opinion LOL, if it matters, they have been showing some pretty neat craft items LOL
 
really ~dont let the kids watch it. its hsn rated r~adult ;) :teeth: sample stace~shes a FRRRREAK!!!!LOL
 
Just an update: I am now back in school!!!! I haven't watched the HSN, QVC or infomercials in a couple of weeks. I think that was just something to do out of boredom while I was out of school LOL although I did see several things that I would really like to purchase at some point. I am still crocheting, in fact I have about 5 or 6 Snuggle blankets crocheted and ready to deliver to my local animal shelter, which I hope to get delivered this week. I also have almost 20 squares crocheted for the Warm Up America blanket project. As soon as I get 49 squares done, which I hope to have done by the end of the month, I will mail those off. I have also started an afghan (that I have no plans for LOL ). I hope that this finds everyone well, as I have not been here much since school started back. Just thought I would stop in :flybye: and give an update and say hello to everyone. Take care and I hope to be back soon and make another post!! :wave: :hug: :kiss2:
