Was soo excited I was a finalist since ive never made it in for any parties before, then to get that email about the mistake, ugh :sad:

I agree w/ everyone on this sentament..HOWEVER, Don't hold your breath! the offer from Hamilton Beach is probably 1/2 off a coffeemaker and if thats the case i'd rather buy a mr coffee and donate it to the church! Just for spite! LOL!

Got the We Are Sorry email also :( Only got it after trying desperately to log in and set party up of course for a while. That is just cruel and unusual punishment!
 
I got the same as everyone else :( Ah well. No loss, no gain...... so no harm done.

Mine does too. I think it is because of the "mess up" they had a while back when everyone got awarded the party by mistake. I got an email today from HouseParty/Brew Station saying I was entered in a drawing for a few BrewStaion and they also provided a coupon code for 20% off a purchase. I think HouseParty is putting the party on everyone's site as some sort of "gesture" to show they are giving us something for the mishap. If you go to Houseparty's Facebook page and read their "wall" you can often see comments explaining things and people's comments...often very funny. The party listed on our pages to me is only symbolic. I'm guessing this is how they meant it.

alt 37 gives you a percentage sign. :yesnod: :rofl: the shift % doesn't work.
 
Spaz......help! Alt 37 works to give me a percentage sign, but when I hit post reply, it turns back to that jumbled mess. :faint:
 
The only way I know how to get the percentage sign % to work correctly is to click the "Go Advanced" button instead of "Post Quick Reply". Then uncheck the box that says "Automatically parse links in text" before you click the "Submit Reply" button.
 
Yeah, I just logged in and noticed that I'm hosting this party today. If they knew enough to say "no you're not" they should know enough to not post that on my dashboard. Did get the special offer of 20% off the coffee maker. I don't think so ...
