I'm gonna pass on this one because of the required subscription to Café Express.

Hmm close to a $20 investment to get in on this party...I'm undecided on that idea...

I wonder if we have to start ordering the coffee prior to be accepted......that sure won't happen for me. :coffee:
 
Can't Believe It! I got in.

I have never applied to host one of these before this one, but I got an email yesterday saying that my application was accepted. I called the phone number and got registered. I did have to sign up for coffee service - but can cancel anytime. The cost was approx $12 for three boxes of K-cups (my choice of any flavor on the Green Mountain Website). Two were free and the $12 covered one I had to pay for (including shipping). I get the free brewer too. I am really excited! They said over 17,000 people applied and they picked 700 to participate. I hope some of you get in too!!! :prey:
 
How do these house party's work. Is there Media involved? I signed up for them but I have no clue what to do if I get excepted.

I went to the house party page and it says I'm an active applicant.
 
I am still just an active participant. OH how I want this house party. I never seem to get the GOOD ones!!
 
I received email that I was in and had to call a number for Cafe Express. You get a free Keurig- but have to pay $11.95 for first set of coffee. You also get 2 more boxes for free. After you pay the $11.95 you are free to cancel at anytime, so not a bad deal.

I got this too. I already got the coffee maker a B44 and should be getting the 2 boxes of coffee from Fedex today. Now I hope house party moves me from active to accepted and I get the rest of the items for the party.
 
Mine still says active but I have a feeling they are done selecting. My friend was accepted 2 weeks ago and got her coffee pot already. Oh well, yet another rejection is on its way. :(

Your application was received on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 and is now under review.

You will be notified by email of your status on or around Monday, March 30th. Good luck!

Please note: Only one application per household; multiple applications will be disqualified.

they usually dont start picking 2 1/2 wks before the posted dates
 
I just got the email 2 days ago and it was from Cafe Express- but they are the ones giving out the free Keurig machine. I think after you pay for the coffee and sign up with them they send your info to house party.

It is for Green Mountain

GM has a program called Cafe Express which is their auto-delivery program. I have rec'd my pot and GM coffee, and already cancelled the auto-delivery for the Cafe Express. I am very happy with the pot and coffees!
 
I would double check those emails you are getting.I have been getting emails from cafe express too but they are not from houseparty.And it is a little early to be sending out acceptance stuff for this.I would contact houseparty and ask them cause normally once they start sending out acceptance stuff the party page is available and it is not there yet
