Free X-mas Cards from Cards Direct

I received one card yesterday, the other 2 cards were out of stock. Thanks again Joyce:)
 
When you click on "send free sample", the limit of 3 is for each card. There is no limit of total cards ordered. Keep in mind no envelopes are sent with them.

I received 5 cards a couple of days ago-3 were out of stock. My cards were all bent up from the trip. I think I might try ordering some more since they came so quickly. They did have a lot of nice cards.

Did anyone else's come pre-printed? One of mine had a greeting and a family name on the inside-can't use that one!
 
I ordered 3 and 3 under 2 names. I received 3, the other 3 were out of stock but it says they will be shipped when they get them in. The cards I got were all blank, no printing. I just went on the site and now it says you have to call to order samples and pay for overnight shipping to get them in time for Christmas. I'll be curious to see if they offer free samples again after the first of the year, or if they're just saying that because they got too many requests...:convinced:

I got these last week, ordered 8 but only got 6, but I put 2 orders in one under my husbands name & email as well. Got the envelopes that fit, from Wal Mart $1.26 for 6 of them, put that 39 cent stamp on there, addressed them went thru the whole nine yards. They come back and need more postage another 2 cent stamp, the envelopes where the ones that seal on the side. They are beautiful cards though. The order came so fast too!
 
I just ordered 12 Birthday cards. I ran out and the kids have a ton of parties coming up. Hope I get them I order the Christmas cards and they arrived so I hope I'm not pushing my luck. Thanks.

When I clicked on the "Request Sample" button for a card, a pop-up box appeared on my screen which stated:

"Notice: All sample cards will have a large ink "SAMPLE" stamped on them and do not include envelopes. Samples are provided to demonstrate the quality of the product and are NOT USABLE."

Has anyone received their free sample cards yet? Was the word "SAMPLE" stamped on the cards? I wonder if this is their new policy, to prevent people from ordering sample cards to use.

I usually just get some of those free holiday labels with my name and my son's, and cover up the "Sample" stamp. I've always got extra envelopes laying around, so together it works rather well.
