As of February 21st, we have had an overwhelming volume of requests for the Free tree... and our supply has run out. Sorry about that, we had a number of trees from our lifting and grading process that were a little smaller than what we normally sell, and they were made available for the freebie. The supply was limited (in the thousands), and now they have all been given out. These were offered on a first-come basis. We do have plenty of the free gift certificates available if you would like one of those... Many thanks, and we appreciate your understanding.

And to think, I was really excited about getting a new tree too!

As of February 21st, we had to change the offering... We were offering a free
tree seedling, but due to an overwhelming volume of requests, our supply has
run out! We have tried to fill as many requests as possible, but sorry to say,
we can not meet all of them...

No tree for me- I got the same e-mail:rant:
 
huh?

Am I just being a jerk here, or did they just plain change the offer when they got a huge response? The beginnning of the email indicates they do not have enough trees for the responses, but further down in the email ( I c&p the portion below) they indicate they WILL send you a free tree with a paid order. So did they actaully run out or just change their minds?

Yesterday I got what appears to be a bill from "Arbor day" stating I owed $10, and then I would get my "free" tree. :mmph:

Never did get the loser e-mail. :noidea:
