Free Stuff from Doctor Oz on Wednesday

I had the thank you screens on each entry as well. And a couple of them went through so fast it was scary. But, like allure, they may pick the winners from the ones coming in tomorrow. Who knows. No winning or losing emails for me. Hope is dwindling quickly. It is Saturday though. Can't be all bad. :)

i agree with you sunberri, this giveaway has been one big mess. i had 6 thank you screens and i didn't get a single winning email. that would have exceptable if the giveaway had been run right, but it wasn't. as it is i don't know where i really would have been. combined with the withdrawal of the sample box that we all signed up for dr oz's new venture into beauty products, dr oz is begining to lose creditability with me. he needs to slow down and think things through about how he is doing things and hire reliable people to follow though with them. he should never have offered those sample boxes like he did if he wasn't planning on sending them without conditions.

sorry for my rants. i was already pissed off about the sample boxes and the giveaway just pushed me some more.

Exactly! I don't mind losing when I feel a contest has been run correctly, but I just think there is something shady going on here and that's irritating me. The sample box thing was also annoying. Oh well, I don't think I'll be trying for the Dr. Oz giveaways anymore, doesn't seem to be worth it with the way they've been running things lately.

now i have seen where someone got a winning email for something that they didn't get a thank you screen and it was for something that i got a thank you screen right after it became available. i was right on top of that one in refreshing.

well, this just serves to irritate me further (if it's actually true? that remains in question). saw this posted on another site.

"A guy at my work who I told about the giveaways, used several variations of one address, different emails and a script that auto refreshed the site and auto filled the information to submit everything in under a second for each entry.

He won 8 items, including the Juicer, Vue and Trampoline."

I saw that post too and I'm kind of doubting it's true. I'm wondering if it was posted just to further annoy people. I'm sure using a bot to enter would DQ you and I think they could tell if someone used one. I also don't think you could have that many variations on 1 address that could fool them. Either way, this contest was completely messed up and I'd love to see the exact entry times of the winners to prove that those people actually won by being in the first batch, but that'll never happen.

I'm thinking there was a random drawing done, which would explain why a lot of people won things they didn't enter for and some people ended up with multiple wins. Sharecare is completely ignoring all questions on the giveaway.

Yes, this is annoying to me too. I wasted a large part of my day on this. They will not send me a list of the winners. I know I was very quick on many of my entries, but if I didn't win I would at least like to verify and see proof of those who did.

Hi All!

So who all did win something from Dr. Oz.

Like "Sookie," I also received confirmations for all of the prizes I entered. I only won 1 --- the Fitbit.

This is the email I received:

You have won an Ultra Wireless Activity + Sleep Tracker from the Dr. Oz's Best Tips Ever! Online Giveaway. Your prize is currently being fulfilled by Fitbit Inc. and will be sent to the address that you provided. Please allow 6-8 weeks from the end of the promotion for your prize to arrive.

Now I have to Hope that the Fitbit company will send it. After I got the email, I checked up on Fitbit. They have a ton of negative reviews on Amazon.com about their terrible (almost non-existent) customer service. You are ONLY able to contact the company through emails, NO telephone #. We'll see if they fulfill their obligation.

no emails here and i got 6 thanks yous. i also saw where someone got a winning email without a thank you confirmation for one of the items that i had gotten a thank you confirmation for. something smells rotten to me.

I agree.

FYI: For those who did win a Fitbit - IF you want to use all of their options by linking the Fitbit with their website, You have BUY a membership. Otherwise, as others as reviewed, it's just a glorified pedometer. Nice, huh?

No response from this company regarding my inquiries, but they sure as heck sent me a spam email based on my "interest in bla blah perfume".. I get 20% off. I'm not going to affiliate myself with anything Oz related in the future. They are a mess.

I've never gotten the form for any Dr. Oz promo as far as I can remember. And this last time was no different--and then I had to go out early that day, so I never even tried for any after the first one. Be that as it may, I did somehow get the pillow some time ago (with a $200+ inflated value). But my reaction to anything Dr. Oz is the same as sookie's--probably a waste of time. I just can't figure out why when I click on the link, I don't ever get a form. Very frustrating.

Received UPS alert, my Rescue Spray will be delivered tomorrow..:teeth:

i received email i had won the perfume but nothing after that it said i would receive code to order it but nothing yet.

not that I'm holding my breath :pinose:, but I have seen a post that someone had something show up at their door and they didn't get notification that they won. I also saw that a few people just got a winner notification via email.

Subject: Harvey Prince Eau de Lite on the Dr Oz Show

I had not received an e-mail code for the Sleep Phones I won. I sent an e-mail to [email protected]. I received a reply within a 1/2 hour. They said that the vendor had been contacted and the e-mails should go out this week.
