Free Shower Gel at Walgreens / YMMV

I went to walgreens last night, the girls was kinda not right, she ended up letting me use two coupons but with two seperate orders, hey whatever works....
 
Sorry some people are having problems but smiling that alot of people are getting to use this... guess you can take it to any store that will honor internet coupons... yay for that.... and crud for me = stores in Ohio... at least the ones in my area will not except internet coupons... go figure... they still tip cows here for fun... :ohwell:
 
Think I'll just try Wal-Mart first.

After about 20 minutes of trying to convince the cashier to call the manager (the cashier INSISTED that they would not accept the coupon), the manager finally sauntered over, quickly entered my coupon in the register and I was on my merry (and free) way. Whew, that was an exhausting experience; but well worth it.

:34: I go through that a lot too, Lucy. And not even with online coupons, but with all coupons. I never understand why the cashier makes a big deal out of it. "The coupon says 'Facial Moisturizer' but the product says 'Facial Cream.'" Even though they're the same thing. The way they're acting, you'd think the coupon was coming directly out of his check! So I always have to call a manager over, and the manager always accepts the coupon.

When I worked at a Walgreen's (wow, that was 12 years ago), even if a coupon was somewhat questionable I'd accept it. Because the company gets reimbursed for each coupon, plus an extra 7¢. All the coupons get submitted to the manufacturer together. There's no way to tell which coupon went for which purchase. As long as the company has sufficent stock (they're not trying to redeem 100 coupons for Brand X when Walgreen's only had 12 on the shelf), it's fine.

i had a problem at walgreen , the system was showing unknown item but i took coupon on walmart , no problem no question asked but it is $4.54 at walmart ...still worth it.
 
well---hit hit 3 walgreens on friday. the first 2 which were in good neighourhoods took the couponm with no issue. the 3rd one that was in just an OK neighbourhood but a stones throw away from the ghetto refuised saying it was counterfit...i didnt argue---i decided I was pushing my coupon luck already---however it was funny considering I already used it. the manager also tried "setting the coupon asside behind the register" then I asked "Can I have my coupon back so I can go to target and use it". he didnt seem pleased.

as a side note---dont get the body oil----i used it friday nite and it left me sticky---i had to take another shower with my free body wash to get it off.
 
Checked at the service desk at my local Wal-mart. They said they would take the coupon..no problem.

UNTIL....I went to the baby dept. and the beauty aids dept. and found they don't carry any of the products!!

Will try another wal-mart in my area.

Thanks for the coupon. I usually don't go to Walgreens becuse I see stuff there I don't see anywhere else or a really great deal and end up spending $100 on a $5 intended purchase.
 
I tried the Dreamy Night one before i went to sleep last nite. The scent was so strong, couldn't sleep till past 2 am. Maybe i'll bring it to work instead...:tongue:
