Free Birthday Gift from Sephora ~ YMMV

Just signed up just in time - my birthday is next month.
 
As long as you register your birthday with them you can get your gift when you order online or when you go into a store! I got mine today.. it's a three back of small versions of their lipglosses! :kissing:
 
I went for my birthday gift (this year, they did send me a reminder e-mail)--it was supposed to be the trio of lip glosses. However, they didn't have any and didn't offer to extend the time for me to come back to pick it up (I don't go to that mall too often). They offered me a little Clinique set of acne products. Well, I don't have acne, so as I was standing there looking at the three items they had available for using your points, I just said they should give me those three items--and they did! Samples were "Hope in a Jar" moisturizer, a Clinique cream eye shadow and Smashbox lip gloss. Hard to believe you have to spend $100 in the store to get just one of these small samples. But, they were very nice and said it really didn't count as my birthday gift, so that if I did get back there, I could still get the lip glosses. May try a different mall if I can before the time runs out (two weeks after your actual birthday).
 
My hubby's bday is the 21st of this month, I hope he doesn't mind getting this for me... :) I signed him up anyway

for guys they offer something else like bodywash and i can't remeber what the other one was. but i got hubby bodywash and it smells really good.

Well, the only one that matches the 100 point gift I received is the "Hope in a Jar." Didn't see the other ones. Anyway, I'm still hoping to get to the other mall to get the real birthday gift. They never took my Insider Card last night, so the computer doesn't even know I was there!

I did go to a second mall about a week ago, and they didn't have the lip glosses either--they said they were recalled (or some such nonsense)--but they did tell me that I could get my birthday gift even after the two weeks is up --which is this Friday. So, I'm not rushing back to get anything. The eye kit sounds interesting, so I'll just wait until February and hope they actually do get that in stock.
 
Got the little eye kit tonight for my birthday gift. They did send an e-mail last week saying I should pick it up by Feb. 7th. The kit looks very cute. It has an eyeshadow, mascara and a pencil--all minis.

Why is an Elizabeth Arden ad popping up in my post? I had nothing to do with it!

OK--this is strange--it's gone now. I'm not losing it, really!

Now the ad is in your post! Run for the hills! It's a migrating ad. Anyway, about the birthday gift...they were screwed up this year, changing over to the eye kit from the lip glosses. I wouldn't worry that it is past your birthday, since I got an updated e-mail three weeks after my birthday also (my birthday was Jan. 8). They did ask for my Insider Card, scanned it and gave me the gift. No hesitation or problems. The e-mail did say to redeem by Feb. 7th. They know they were OOS in the beg. of Jan. on the b'day gifts.
