Free 8 Week Bally's Fitness Membership

Must be US citizen..

I don`t understand why it is only for US citizens? I heard about this on one other website and the comments were ridiculous and filled with hate and discrimination. I read people say " illegals shouldnot get this free deal!.." and a buncha stuff like that.
First of all I thank you all for not taking it to that point. I am glad I log in to this web site.
Second of all as a legal, tax paying resident alien I wish I could enjoy this deal as well.
I checked for a couple of different gyms this week, like 24 hr fitness, gold`s, la fitness and also bally`s. Bally`s is not on my list as an option any more...

You have to give CC info when you are there for this 8 week trial period?

That is strange it is limited to US citizens. Maybe you could visit the gym and explain the issue to the manager to see if there is anything he or she can do for you.

My friend who has been doing this deal every year for 3 years says she never had to give any CC info... and when they do call her to see if she's been working out, she tells them of course, she's sticking to the 8 week challenge...

I'll let you know if they try to get any credit card info from me... I'm gonna try to motivate myself to go tonight to workout.
 
Awesome deal... started going tonight... they were about to give me the whole song dance and tour, but then I told them I've already done the tour and they pretty much left me alone... I did the Kwando class tonight and it kicked my ass... when the 8 weeks are up, I'll probably have 24 hr fitness and Bally get into a price war over me and join the one who gives me the best deal.
 
I went to the Ballys in Kent,Wa tonight and they didn't hassle me too much ,did sit me down and write some prices on a paper then when I said I'm just here for the 8 week body challenge he said this is a final offer and after this it will go up.I just looked at him and smiled and said I'm just here for the 8 week challenge and I'll tell you what I think in 8 weeks.And that was that and I was on my way to the treadmills steam bath and sauna.They said it wouldn't cost me anything,I didn't have to cancel or give them my CC info.
I'm sure they'll try again and I'll just say the same thing.They don't want to mess with a Discovery Channel sponsored promotion,they'd sink there ship.
 
No Bally's near me....and i am glad of it!
I'm suprised with all the complaints and their unlawful sales tactics that they're still in business....Call the BBB and register a complaint!
