Free $5 Amazon Credit for Texting for Select Accounts

Does not work. Shows 'The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.'
 
I got the no go error too. And many people have quick checkout set up, in those cases you dont get promted to enter a code at any rate. It does show a 100/10 promotion right on the checkout though.

I had the same issue as Perig last time and this time. Does Amazon not wish to part with gift cards?!

i put it in and it accepted the code, but no $5 credit, only a $50 charge for the gift card I sent to myself. Scam to sell gift cards I guess.
