I got the card today, and NO money. I just emailed them! Bogus offer! I hate when they do things like this.

I also got this email today but havent recd the card yet. I might use the
$10.00 & then cancel the account. I will not give them my SS# though.:sad:

I'm Allison and I work for facecard. I stumbled upon this forum and wanted to address some of your questions and concerns. If you activated your facecard, you will receive $10 whether or not you load funds. You will see the $10 in your account 3-5 business days after activation.

Some of you also had questions about the following things:

*Inactivity fee - This only applies if you haven't used your card in 90 days. This fee is easily avoidable with one transaction (gift, load, spent) every 3 months.

*SSN - I completely understand your concern about giving your SSN online. We ask for your Social Security number to protect you and to make sure each card member is who they, in fact, say they are. SSNs are required for every reloadable prepaid product currently available.

I ordered 4 cards and 2 of them have $10.00 on it. I received an e-mail stating that it was added today (12-18-08) Hope this helps everyone.

Did you activate the card yet? It says "after" you activate it, it could take 3-5 business days for the money to be added on. I activated mine yesterday and got it today.
 
I activated my card two days ago, and I got my $10 today. Yay!
 
So how do you cancel the card? I'm sure my son won't keep money on his card and I don't want him to be hit with any fees.
 
mine was loaded....couldnt use it to get gas though....oh well.
there is a number on the back of the card to call I would assume you call to cancel
 
I GOT MY $10 ON TWO OF MY CARDS SO FAR! I used it but you have to send the card back to cancel and they say that does not clear you of any fees you agreed to pay. But the only way they would be able to get the money out of you is if you were to put money on the card. This is giving me a headache. Was it worth the money?? :thinking: So far.
