AH HAH!!! Some of the toys have a message in red under them that states "Use PayPal and Save!**" So, pick $50 worthand you should get the discount at checkout with the code
 
I finally got the discount registered as per thoreau's suggestion....but now I am getting the "paypal is not available at this time" screen. guess i'll keep trying.
 
Thanks for the great find. I got everything to register and the order to complete. I was getting errors when I chose to pay with paypal, but after I logged into paypal first, it finally let me complete the order.
 
Call Customer Service. It requires some patience, but they did say that the Payapl promotion is having issues and they had me place the order on a credit card and then issued me a $25 credit on the order so it was worth it to me!!

I kept getting the message also, but when I went to the final step before approving the payment, it showed up in the summary. I then approved and paid by paypal.
 
Everything is working fine for me, but I didn't officially checkout since I'm not sure I want to buy anything. Here's a catch though:

- Do not enter the coupon on the first page where there's a box for "Promotion Code". It will give you an error.

Instead, just select "Paypal" as your payment method, and it should happen automatically. It did for me at least, and I was trying to buy the Mario Kart bundle for Wii with the extra racing wheel. Good deal!
 
great, after all that now I got the cancellation notice via email....
 
Customer service told me when I called them: "The Paypal offer is only good for the morning, so it is expired". Boo :(
 
whew after some time on hold i got toysrus honored the deal with a credit card and they reordered my cancelled order....
 
I got the below email this morning... hopefully a code will come through & I can reshop!

of course I missed it! It was 3 PM by the time I got the email. I could have really used this!!! If anyone gets any other Toys R Us, please pass them along! BUt of course that is what spoofee'ers do!

Thank you for your post. Upon reading it, I immediately checked my email as I too placed an order this morning using Paypal. Low and behold, my order had been cancelled as well. I then called Toys R Us Customer Support (just as I had to do when I initially placed the order in order to get the discount code to be accepted). Contrary to the email, they stated that my order would not be cancelled and that they were currently working with Paypal to "push" all of the failed orders through manually. They also said that I would receive an email on Monday morning stating the same. So, in essence, don't fret, your order should go through too :).

Anybody actually get this email about them pushing the orders through manually? I haven't gotten anything...guess I'll be calling then.
 
Hey, I have a code that was emailed to me for $25 off $50 through Paypal. Good through today only. I couldn't find enough to buy. I was trying to get all "free shipping" items, but once I got to the $50 to qualify for free shipping and plugged in this $25 off code, of course it bumped me back to $25 total purchase...and I couldn't find anything else I wanted. Does this make sense? LOL In short, you need to buy $75 worth to bump your total back to $50 (if you don't want to pay shipping). If you want the code, let me know and I will PM you. :)
