(Expired) Free Subscription to U.S. News & World Report

I dunno if this link is still dead from the 1st post, but the link that GD posted in another thread (http://www.spoofee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81018) *DID* work for me. Admins locked that thread tho. :( You can click the link there and view it, just not type IN it.

Anyway, just a heads up for anyone still interested in getting this magazine that might have trouble with the link Joyce posted...

Well... Just an fyi that doesn't always work as the one time I put student, I got this email reply:

You did not qualify due to one or all of the following reasons:

You selected a response to one or more questions which may not meet the publisher's qualification criteria.
The publication selected is not available in the country you reside in.
Publications are only free to working professionals. Not students.

Got back from a trip & the first issue was in my mailbox! :)
 
I really love that this is a weekly publication. We had a renewal insert in the magazine that got you 1 yr for $15 and 2 yrs for 30... That seems like a good price considering it's a weekly magazine! I think we might take them up on that. Weekly magazines are usually $30-$50 for a subscription!!

Now if I could only get a freebie of TIME magazine. Poor hubby misses that. :( He's had it for 6+ years now and our subscription recently expired. :( Too expensive to get w/o the deals we prev. nabbed on ebay. *sigh*
 
U.S. News & World Report is moving towards a bi-weekly publication now. For the past few months the magazine has been bi-weekly.
 
*sigh* nevermind -- it seems to be out already. I tried to get it & it's not showing up checked off.
 
Glitterdog, I didn't see if it mentioned how many issues this subscription is for ... did you see anything about it?
 
the email said "one year subscription" but you're right, it doesn't say that anywhere in the signup process.

I think you're right.…It would not allow me to check the box for the magazine and, therefore, would not go through. It says "quantities limited," so I think they must have hit their limit.
 
that was certainly an odd graft. you took a new deal from February 1 and attached it to a thread from a year and a half earlier. clearly different deals (considering one expired in 2008 and the other didn't start until 2010).
